Review for: The Beautyblender&Reg; Solid&Reg; more...
I can not say enough good things about my beauty blender. I always had issues with my under eye concealer looking super cakey and bunching up, but this little wonder stopped that completely. It works great with almost any foundation that I have tried with it as well. The super bouncy texture helps makeup go on and actually still look like you have skin and not cake face. It can be a little difficult to clean, but I haven't tried the actual cleanser they make just yet. Regardless, it is a staple in my makeup routine now and I dont know that I could ever go back to another sponge.
The first time I used this I was not at all prepared for the experience I was about to get. I bought mine of memebox on sale, so I figured there was no harm in trying it out. The product can be slimy to the touch, which I wasn't expecting. Also, as it starts to foam it begins to get rather itchy. Especially around the mouth and nose! However, if you can sit through it, after 10 minutes the foaming has pretty much reached its limit and then, (this was something I didn't know) you rub the mask into your face for 5 minutes to really allow it to cleanse your skin. After I did that, Holy Cow! My skin was super clean and soft. I have semi-oily skin and this is a clay mask, so if you're on the dryer side and want to use this I would highly recommend using a good heavy moisturizer afterwards. But it really does get a deep clean that I usually dont get with other masks. Its really fun and entertaining along with being a great deep cleanser.
Ive used the original for almost two years now exclusively. I love that it subtly evens out my eyelids and makes all my shadows stay put without creasing all day long. I haven't had a chance to use any of the tinted ones, but I am sure they work just as well. If you have oily eyelids or have difficulty keeping your shadows from creasing I definitely recommend this product.
