Hiya! I'm a college student, and I'm on Influenster in my free time (or when I'm reeeeally procrastinating on that paper...), and I love trying new products! I'm up to date on makeup trends, but I'd really love to learn more about skin care and health. Fun fact about me: I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I'm a first time college student!
Let me start this off by saying I've never tried any L'Oreal mascara before. I know, I'm awful! But this mascara has definitely turned me towards buying more of at least this same Voluminous line. I'm pretty pale, so I could immediately notice the tint of burgundy this mascara has, but as I applied it to the rest of my lashes I definitely didn't see as much color. Nonetheless, this is great as a softer look for those who feel like black mascara is too harsh! In terms of volume and length, this mascara definitely seemed to bring my lashes up, and for sure gave me length! It also didn't really give me that "spider"-y look many women complain about with mascaras. It's a bit hard to get the inner lashes and bottom lashes without touching the skin due to the wand being so big, but that doesn't bother me very much! This left a great first impression for me in terms of their brand and mascara formulas, and I'll definitely look into buying more in the future!
I bought this when I went to my first LUSH store as a kind of impulse checkout-lane purchase. I loved the fact that they gave 100% of the profits (minus taxes) to charities, and that you can see which charities they sponsor by looking at the packaging of the lotion. It definitely smells like ylang ylang and rosewood oils, and that took some getting used to; I kind of regretted buying it at first because of the scent. I use it quite often now, because I love how soft the cocoa butter makes my skin. I also like that the lotion contains ingredients sourced from their Sustainable Lush Fund projects that support regenerative agriculture around the world! I personally continue to use this lotion today not only because they ethically source their ingredients, but also because the lotion tends to get a bit cold even in the pot, and it's almost refreshing to put it on since I live in Florida where it's basically always 80 degrees and up. I've had no problem with this lotion not being long-lasting, but I have pretty hydrated and smooth skin on my own, as I'm still young. If you're older, you might want to look into their exfoliators like Scrubee, their massage bars, or their bath oils.
This was literally the only thing we used for my mom's tattoo as it was healing. It's light and unscented, so it makes the healing process super easy. It also doesn't pull the color out of it like other lotions may do. Now that her tattoo has healed, I use it alongside my other lotions, and I love it.
I found this product to be great for on-the-go touch ups, especially when you're running late to class like I tend to do. If you do buy this product, you should know that the scent isn't ridiculously strong (it has a light, sweet scent), but you shouldn't spray it too close to your hair. I noticed if you mess up and spray it close, you'll get white spots that are hard to get out. Also, I wouldn't pair this with the dry conditioner they sell, as the combination of both products made my hair greasy!
Super hydrating, and light on the skin! I don't have "visibly dry skin," so it didn't make my skin LOOK any different, but I could feel how much smoother my skin was when I touched it. I like that it has exfoliating properties in it, but I don't really notice them. I wish it was a little less greasy, honestly!
My cat has digestive issues, so she throws up a lot. We switched her to this food, and so far she's been doing a lot better! We get the occasional throw-up moment, but it's a lot better than it was before. She's also much more impatient for her food...as soon as I get home from class she's standing by the food bowl and meowing at me, so I'd say she likes it! I like buying it, too, because it has great ingredients compared to other cat food brands. It's a little expensive, but I don't mind paying a little more considering the ingredients and how it's helped my cat's health.
This was actually my first ever video game. I love that it had Disney mixed in with the story alongside the main characters. If I still had my PS2, I'd even be playing it right now! It was a super affordable and fun game, and every person I know who's still into video games has played it as either their first video game or one of their favorites. It was amazing, and I love the KH franchise altogether! SE could definitely work on US promotion of their games, though; I keep seeing KH Remixes hitting the shelves without ever hearing that they were released, or even in development!
This was my ALL-TIME favorite expansion, out of all of them. I loved being able to host parties with my friends or send my kids off to go trick-or-treating. It was also super cool that with this expansion came winter clothes and a new "Outerwear" clothing section. This expansion is absolutely worth the price. You can send your sims to build snowmen or igloos, and the weather affects them just like it would affect us; it makes the game much more realistic, as it's not just ALWAYS sunny out, like before.
I grew up playing this game, and even now I still play it. I had all the expansions for Sims 2 growing up, but my all-time favorite expansions have to be Seasons and University Life for Sims 3. I loved being able to send my kids off to college or celebrate Christmas with a gift-opening party with my friends. This franchise is one I can play for hours on end, and I honestly love it. I now have moved on to Sims 4, and the only disappointment is how expensive the Stuffs packs are, and how the previously mentioned expansions may not be implemented. Nonetheless, I love the customization aspect of the game, and how you can make it unique every time you start a new family.
