This is a good, but not great lip balm - especially considering the price. I love the elegant, vintage-looking white pot packaging and the beautiful rose scent. While this is very moisturizing, it is not particularly plumping. Having said that, because it is so hydrating, it does give the impression of a slightly fuller lip.
I got a sample of this a little while ago and I haven't stopped using it since! It is such a simple gloss to just throw on and go. It gives me a bit of color without it being to over powering for everyday. It is a pale pink and I like that it isn't very frosty either and there isn't any shimmer either. I also like popping this on the middle of my bottom lip on top of another color to add a bit of highlight. And I think it brightens up my complexion even when I look exhausted. At Sephora it is only $19 and I don't think that is too expensive for a lip gloss. If you are looking for a gloss that is easy to wear and brightens your face, I think you should try it out!
LOVE this! I have thin lips and I am not a fan of lipstick or lip gloss. I prefer just something moist on my lips. I was intruduced by this at the Von Maur Laura Mercier counter and I am in love. The color is perfect for me. It does plump my lips enough to take out creases and lines and I feel like I have fuller lips. It isn't sticky like a lip gloss and last a good while. The bonus is the lovely package that is beautiful! This will be my go to everyday and night and will be buying again!
Ok so much to say about this little bottle of lip gloss...... first the color is very light and kinda weird when you first put it on, honestly i dont like the color when i first put it on, it makes me look like I'm freezing and i've lost all color in my lips BUT it changes. You start to feel a tingling and a minute after this happens your lips plump a little and the tingling turns your lips this beautiful natural rosy red color. I LOVE it! The best part is its natural from the tingling, if you wipe some off there is no pink color or tint to it. HOWEVER, if you make a mistake and apply this outside of the lips, guess what, that turns red too and its not cute lol. You have to be very careful to keep this inside the lip line or it makes it look like you scratched outside of your mouth or are having an allergic reaction of some sort. And you cant wipe it off, it stays that way till the tingle wears off. This helps get rid of the fine lines in your lips and really truly looks great. It does go on very thick, like the thick that is VERY sticky. Your hair gets stuck in it, you move your hair and it gets stuck again..... definitely dont put it on and drive with the windows down..... now heres what I HATE, after just a couple uses (like literally two or three) the brush frays from going into the bottle and the bristles are now going every which way, it makes it difficult to apply and remember what I said about staying in the lip line? Yup once that happens with the bristles it makes it even harder to apply inside the lip line This is the biggest flaw with this. The brush is awful and really should be fixed. Its embarassing to put on around anyone because it looks absolutely crazy. Still with all the cons i mentioned, it just makes my lips look so good and plump and so much younger that I can easily tolerate the flaws and will continue to buy and cross my fingers that they fix the bristle situation. I LOVE this stuff!!! I will add pics later when I'm not too busy looking in the mirror ;)
It took me forever to try this mask. I didn't believe in the hype, and thought it was simply a novelty thing (it shows where it draws the oil out of your skin) that people liked the look of.
But I was so wrong. I picked up a sample of this and tried it on my nose. I have pretty bad blackheads and really visible sebacous filaments. I cant seen to get the skin on my nose to ever look clear so i thought id try this mask there.
It smells a bit like...mud? I suppose its meant to! Its mainly a smooth texture with random chunks of leaves or similar ingredients throughout it. It applied easily, I used a thin layer to get the most out of my sample. I could feel the tingle straight away after applying. I left it on for 15 minutes and checked back in the mirror and sure enough you could see all the dots of oil on my nose!
When I washed it off, I was very surprised. My skin felt smooth, and my blackheads where gone. My sebacous filaments were still there, but much less noticeable. My pores looks smaller and the skin looked clearer.
A week later I tried this mask on my whole face which didn't go so well. The tingling feeling felt like burning on the more sensitive areas of my face. My face was a bit red afterwards but It didn't last for too long.
I've decided it's too strong for my whole face, but it's been great as a weekly nose clearing treatment. I also apply it to any pimples and spot treat them over night. They are visibly smaller by morning!
This product is really expensive, but since I don't use large amounts of it, it's more than worth it for me! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has similar skin concerns.
I'm a naked palette addict, with Naked 3 being my historical favorite. This palette however is giving Naked 3 a run for its money. Heat has such a wonderful color scheme, who knew how gorgeous orange tones could be! So far lumbre is my favorite from this palette, dirty talk is so pretty in the crease, and ember is this amazing shade especially when blended with dirty talk or scorched. For anyone looking for a fun palette that creates some amazing summer looks, I highly recommend this palette.
