- "I randomly began to have allergy issues about three years ago and this product saved my life!" in 1 review
- "It does not make you drowsy, you do not have to wait to drink orange juice or acidic drinks like with some other allergy medicines and best of all it does not make you gain water weight like a Certain other allergy medicine does!" in 1 review
Pros: It's fast-acting and long-lasting. Usually, I take the medicine as a reaction instead of being proactive about it — especially when I know I'm going to come into contact with pollen or cats. But luckily for me, it's fast-acting. I usually find relief in an hour or two — even shorter when I have my inhaler on me.
Whenever I take Zyrtec — whether the move was proactive or reactive — I can fight off the allergens around me for hours. Oftentimes, I'm not vulnerable again until the next day. This was especially useful when my college roommate adopted a cat without telling me.
Cons: Is Zyrtec incredibly expensive? Yes. When I'm traveling and I realize I left my allergy meds behind, I always have to get Benadryl instead. It's tough to afford for long periods of time.
