I would say if you really like Zumba, you can definitely make it your priority workout. But I would also consider incorporating lifestyle changes if you want to lose weight.

you need to make a lifestyle change by incorporating a healthy diet combined with exercise. i think this is effective overall but it's definitely a fun way to get started. but the key is in the nutrition coupled with exercise

You can lose weight any way. Just as long as you keep moving... I did the Zumba fitness xbox 360. I lost a lot of weight by doing it 3-4 times a day

It's a good way to start, but losing weight, and keeping it off requires a lifestyle change. It's about knowing what you put into your body, and the affect it has on you. Knowing what is in your food is key to great health. Exercise it vital to losing weight, and Zumba is a great and fun way to get your exercise in.

Yes!! If you give it your all and just keep moving and do it for like an hour you should be able to burn a lot of calories!!

I would think so, it's a lot of cardio which is probably the best method of exercise for someone overweight. Obviously it won't be the only thing you can do but it would be a huge start
