I think it really depends on your mood, both are just as fun to do!

It depends on how you do it and how you put your mind to it

I don't really do Zumba with the DVDs but I do go to the classes twice a week and I actually really enjoy the game. It's fun to play when I'm not going to a class that day or maybe when its rainy or snowing and we're stuck in the house. The game works for us better than DVDs because it allows my daughter and I to have some positive competitiveness because it keeps a type of "score" if you will.

It depends on your Zumba fitness experience and preferences. As an instructor, I can follow the moves fairly easily but if you're new to the idea of Zumba fitness, its best to get started and learn the basics with the DVDs. I personally do not like the large number of corny songs and useless moves that occur in this game, but that's where preferences come in.
