Absolutely! Turn on the radio and dance for a solid hour, and it will make you sweat. This is an amazing way to get cardio in, as it feels like a dance party and the class is designed to get your blood pumping.

With Zumba, one person can modify, if they have an injury or something, and the person next to them can go full out and intensify the steps. So yes, if you do all the jumps, squats, etc. with effort you'll sweat and get a good workout.

Yes if you actually do all the steps and moves, before you know it your drenched. its a real fun way to exercise

Ive never sweated so much in my life. I see the best results from my zumba class. But it all depends on your instructor as well. My instructor off the AF Base I live at is amazing unlike the free class on base. I've toned and lost my muffin top within a month of her class.

YES, if you do all the jumps and squats and go full force you sweat a lot. I lost a lot a weight doing Zumba. I'm currently 7 months pregnant now and I don't push it very hard so I do break a sweat but I do it more to just stay active and have fun. After baby comes and I am healed I will be going full force again!

It definitely can make you sweat! It does depend on how much you get into it though. If you are barely doing the moves then of course you won't get a good workout. Put your whole body into it like the instructors and you will get a good workout!
