While this sand has a fairly natural appearance, it is so dusty that not even warm water can wash it off my bearded draons. The dust gets everywhere and cannot be good for the animals breathing it in. Every time my beardie ran around his cage he would kick up a ton of dust which spread out over all the surfaces inside the cage. I can't say I recommend this product, though it is a step up from calcium sand.

Pricy and is VERY powdery. The other people in the reviews say it's toxic but this specific brand is made specifically for them and their digestive system. I've done a ton of research on this stuff and I can't live without it. My beardie needs the sand because he loves to dig at night to go to bed and without it he tears up the "carpet" and trashed it or he digs at the glass and can't fall asleep

After doing a lot of research it turns out calcium sand is not good for bearded dragons because it clumps up in their digestive system and is hard on their stomachs. I highly recommend finding other flooring for your beardies and doing the research!

Sand of any kind is not good for bearded dragons nor geckos. It can harm them. Bearded dragon lick things to check temps and when the lick the sand they swollow it.
