This is POISON!!! no matter how "chemical free," the product says it is the paint still contains unnatural chemicals that will chip go into the water, food suply, dirt, and they will ingest it and kill them. do NOT use.

PAINT CHIPS!! If your hermit crab eats the chipped paint it can be very toxic and kill your pet. Do not buy this product. It may look cute but not worth the animals life. Do not purchase this product.

I enjoy the variety in colors and size of shells. It is expensive up here in ny but they are only fun ones to really choose from. Go down south and get them from there.

Very very toxic to all hermit crabs. Paint shells are poison for hermit crabs. Even though it says non toxic, would you let your dog or cat eat paint chips? I think not.
