Please don't use this product for any reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates. It is WIDELY accepted that heat rocks are not safe for use (regardless of the brand or model). I've seen so many people post on FB groups with pictures of their lizards/snakes/etc. with burns from sitting on these. Reptiles and inverts are attracted to heat, but cannot necessarily feel it when they begin to get a contact burn, which is what makes these so dangerous. I am baffled that this sort of product is still sold to unsuspecting pet owners.

Garbage product. Please don't use this product with any reptiles as it can burn your reptile or even kill them. This product cannot be controlled by a thermostat. I will never recommend this horrible product. Please remember to do your research before bringing home any animals.

I use this heat rock for my bearded dragon and she loves it whenever shes cold, she goes lays down on the rock and when shes warmed enough she moves into her shaded area, if your worried about light bulbs burning out, you should definitely have one of these in handy:)
