Great for your hemos crabs need this so the can process their molding process

Would not recommend it can easily kill your hermit crab of the soil gets packed on any type of way. It's hard for them to dig so they might surface mult ( very dangerous) this cause my hermit crab to die from not being able to do the process properly. I've had another do the same but he was just fine so if you use this keep a close eye on your pet.

Highly recommended but you absolutely should have 5 parts play sand to 1 part eco earth for your crabs, and the substrate should be either half of the tank or around 6". You should have a glass tank, solid lid, no less than 10gal. per crab and at LEAST 2 crabs because they are social. A little bit of eco earth goes a long way, so even though the brick looks small it actually is a great value for the price you pay. I've had 8 crabs successfully molt, some more than once with the 5:1 substrate mix.
