The purpose of the case is good. However it not as steady and will tear easily. I found it bit small as well and there was not much space for the dog to move

Love this for my cat, durable but still has flexibility. Sizing is good. My cat seems to like it. Easy to clean. Cozy little to go carrier. Wish it just had more cushion
