I tried the Zicam Cold Remedy drops and they did help with shortening my cold, but the flavor variety was hit or miss. The orange and lemon flavors were great—pleasant and soothing. However, the cherry flavor was awful. It tasted nasty and I couldn’t stand it. If you’re picky about flavors, I’d definitely recommend sticking with the citrus ones. The zinc did seem to speed up my recovery, though, so I can’t complain too much overall.

This was my first time trying these as a cold remedy. I will say that it appealed to me because it is stated that it would shorten my cold. The taste is not bad at all, it is better than most medicines that are normally taken when you have a cold. The texture is a gummy like texture that is comparable to a gummy bear type of thing. The only thing I do not like, is that you have to take them throughout the day, which is understandable but for someone who works a job where they aren't able to stop constantly it would be easy to forget to take the next dose as recommended. The cost for the item was reasonable, but it is recommended to take these at the first sign of a cold, which is often overlooked by Mitty, which would reduce the effectiveness of the product.

I was hoping to be able to review this product after having gotten sick, but coincidentally, I only started feeling sick today and my review is due! I did go ahead and start taking the Zicam homeopathic medicated fruit drops today. The gummy’s themselves are soft and easy to chew and taste great. There are plenty of drops in the bottle to last more than your duration of illness. I’ve taken others Zicam products before, and feel that they do help with the duration of my colds, so I am hopeful that this product will help shorten the lifespan of my current cold as well.
