I purchased this to use in my commercial kitchen. We make smoothies often, so we get a lot of fruit flies, especially during this past winter transition into spring. It did not work at all. I didn’t notice any attraction from the bugs. It didnt give off any smell or make any noise like I see some people claim so I’m not sure if mine was working properly? The fact it needs plugged into also doesn’t make it easy to keep in a centralized location like it suggests. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I have the worst reactions to mosquitoe bites so I was desperate for anything to help get these bugs away from me. They work pretty decent you’ll notice a bunch of other smaller bugs too. It is pretty big so it will probably take up the whole outlet but I don’t mind the glow of blue light through my sheers!

Honestly does a pretty good job. I wish I had a photo of when I take the insert out after a few weeks because it’s always covered in bugs, even the big black flies. The tape is extremely strong and aesthetically, the trap doesn’t look too bad even in a kitchen. We use it to get common household flies, mosquitoes, etc. would highly recommend, it’s worked better than anything else we have tried, and no stinky toxic sprays! I live in MI so i use this during the spring and summer months. Super easy to use; just pop the insert in and remove the tape, plug in and you’re set.
