The only thing I didn’t like about this is that u have to be careful how much you use - start small. If u put on too much it can easily look cakey, so just have to be light handed with it. The coverage is amazing, a little bit goes a long long way. It is on the matte side of things, so if you’re not hydrated well, this won’t work right for you. I put on some drunk elephant marula oil before hand and it really did make me look radiant. I love that it has SPF in it

This foundation is one of my least favorites for the price. I feel that this foundation is too liquidy and does not have good coverage. I have to mix this foundation with other foundation to get the correct coverage inconsistency.

I wasn't extremely pleased with this foundation. It went on really easy but even when set the slightest touch causes it to run off. It's a very heavy coverage which is what I prefer. It's best for dry skin. I may give it a second chance one day but I wouldn't recommend buying it.

This stuff is awful. Every time I wore this, I had a terrible face day. It breaks apart on my forehead, nose, cheeks and it just looks gross and nasty. It made me feel insecure when people looked at me when I wore this because my face was all separating. Not cute

I'm going to call this more of a first impression than a review as I only have the foundation for a couple days. I purchased the shades BD60 and B70. The first shade is a little too light and the second a little too dark. Mixed together I get a decent match to my complexion. It gives the skin a lovely glow and feels lightweight. Coverage is about a solid medium as I can still see some of my imperfections peeking through. While this is not a major issue for me, I thought it might be worth mentioning; if you're looking for something to cover everything, you may want to look into another foundation. It can also come off as a bit greasy if you're on the oily side (as I am this time of year), so using a powder would be beneficial to combat that. So far so good but I am giving 4 stars due to the fact I have to mix shades to get a decent match.

I have been using this YSL foundation since sampling it at Sephora, and being shocked by how lightweight it felt (while giving me full coverage), and evenly it applied on my face.

I have dry skin, and it goes on SO smoothly - it applies easily with a good primer (I use Becca or Smashbox - see my previous reviews), and lasts all day long!  (No worries about reapplying).

With some makeup products, you can get away with using a drugstore product to get great results, however, when it comes to foundation?  This is where you should splurge, if you have the opportunity.

I will continue to buy this foundation so long as the formula stays as it is!

This is the best and now the only foundation I use. I sampled it during a make-over and instantly fell in love with it. It glides on smoothly as it moisturizes my aging skin. Fine lines disappear and I honestly have been asked what I've been up to that has made me look ten years younger. I almost want to lie!
A little goes a long way which is why it is so worth the price. At first I thought I could not duplicate the make-up artist's work, but the product is so smooth and goes on so easily that I've actually cut down my morning routine time. I've also haven't noticed new dark spots on my face when I wash off all makeup at night. It apparently acts as a good sunscreen. The color is true to my skin color as it blends in very well leaving no traces of where the product begins on my skin. I could not be happier. Sincerely.

I first purchased this maybe two years ago and fell in love. I loved the dewy finish, however, because it was so dewy it needed retouching throughout the day. The coverage is light to medium. I am wondering if YSL changed the formula, though, because the second one I purchased (within the last year) did not provide the same effects as the first one, which is why I switched to NARS after finishing this second bottle.
