While this isn’t my favorite gel topcoat it is however my favorite to use for chrome powder. I mean it chromes like a dream, perfect every time! No screwing around with having to half cure or anything like that. Cure for 60 seconds and you’re good to go in with your chrome powder of choice. Now the reason why it’s not a fave as a topcoat on its own is because it cures softer, but that’s exactly what makes it so good for chrome. Many gel topcoats are tempered, scratch resistant, etc. and they cure too smooth and hard that chrome won’t buff into them. It will just fall off, and that’s when you have to mess around with half curing which is no fun. I want things to work right the first time. With all that being said, this is a great gel topcoat to have in your arsenal. Just have a different one that cures more hard and smooth for all your topcoating.
