I recently tried York Dark Chocolate Chips, and they were honestly a great surprise. The flavor is rich and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness, but still that deep dark chocolate taste. They melt really well, which made them perfect for cookies and brownies. I also liked that they hold their shape nicely when baked, so you still get those little pockets of chocolate in every bite. Even straight out of the bag they taste great if you want a quick chocolate fix. The texture is creamy without being waxy like some chips can be. Overall, they’re a solid choice if you like dark chocolate and want something that works well for baking or snacking. I’ll definitely be buying them again soon.

I was surprised how much I liked these! I’m not usually a chocolate and mint fan, but the large chocolate cookies made with these York dark chocolate and peppermint chips was so good! I would say they are similar to a Thin Mint, but I liked this better. Naturally my kids loved them. I would certainly use these in cookies again.

York dark chocolate & peppermint chips are delicious! For snacking or baking, they taste just like the full sized York peppermint patties. Each little morsel packs a punch of mint and chocolate with no weird aftertaste. I made cupcakes for my first treat, next cookies. The morsels sunk into the batter perfectly and easily melted in my mouth. I’ll keep this on hand in my pantry from now on.
