Oh yelp, I have found the best restaurants in town here, I love to read reviews and see the pictures of the food instead of seeing the professional ones from the owner. Real reviews, I love to see the best 100 restaurants in my state. It is so helpful because I go and save the restaurants and later I check if we are close to any. Always the greatest choices.

I think Yelp is a hit or miss in all honesty. many people only post negatives and it seems that’s what mostly gets posted unfortunately. one bad experience shouldn’t label businesses as poor. In ways it’s good to see what people think about different places but many times I just see people bashing businesses! easy app to use, and many features though.

The Yelp app is a valuable resource for reading reviews about places you plan to visit. You can get a sense of the place through reviews and photos, and my favorite part is being able to see menus and pictures of the food/place to get an idea of your expectation. It’s also useful if you’re new to an area and not familiar to get inspiration on where to visit. I was a Yelp Elite member for a few years, which was fun because I got to participate in events! However, during the pandemic to present, I limited my outings, so I’m no longer an Elite member, but I still review places occasionally.
