I used to use Xanga back when I was in middle school (along with MySpace as well) and I used it like my online diary. I had quite a few friends that would follow me and I would follow them as well. I loved how it let you design your site and it was basically the first blog site I ever used before I went over to Blogspot/Blogger. To this day I still stay in touch on Facebook with a few people that I followed regularly on Xanga. It was just easy to use and besides MySpace, was one of the first sites that got me into social media networking.
