We were gifted a set of Wüsthof Classic Ikon knives and this is the first one I've tried. I can't imagine cutlery gets much better than this. I'm afraid to even wash them by hand - they're that sharp. Of course each knife in the set has their own purpose. Using this one on a bread roll, it cut like a hot knife through butter. I barely needed to even use a sawing motion. The weight of the knife itself was enough to make the cut. These knives aren't for the faint of heart. They're an investment that should hopefully last you a lifetime. The feel and the quality of the steel are top notch. They're sharpened to a precision that is unmatched. I highly suggest if you're in the market to get a new set of knives, you consider the Wüsthof Classic Ikon's.
