Are the payperview events worth the money to you? or do you just catch the highlights when they show it on RAW or Smacdown?

We go to a local place which shows the PPV events each month. Its 5 bucks to get in but it beats paying $55 a month to watch it at home. I'm sure you can find a place near you to watch it for cheap or free. Just went to the Royal Rumble in Phoenix, my first live PPV, was definitely worth it.

Well generally you always know, the Monday after the pay per view, you're going to know all the answers you need to know for free. HOWEVER - I always get Wrestlemainia...something about Wrestlemainia, to see it and know it's happening "live" and you're in the know - and experiencing it at the same time *ahhh* can't beat it and worth every penny!

Unless you have a group of friends you get together with that can help pool money to pay for it, i would just wait until the next show is on because they have some awesome highlights plus u can read and probably see videos on blogs or websites.

At times they are if they're main PPV like Wrestlemania or Summer Slam, but besides that they are a waste of money. You can always catch up on the story line without watching said fights. Royal Rumble would also be another one worth coughing up for. The excitement of who's coming out next is worth it.

My brother and I have a tradition of watching Royal Rumbles on Pay Per View :). And Wrestlemania is a definite must. The other ones are hit or miss. I think they are worth it. You just have to experience it in the moment, not catch the highlights. You need the back story.

Pay Per View events are worth it if you are with friends who enjoy wrestling in the same way as you do. It's always fun hanging out with the mates as you discuss wrestling, root for your favorites, and watch the action unfold. Otherwise, wait for a DVD, really, or just watch clips online somewhere.

I honestly do not feel like they're worth the money. Maybe if they didn't have them so often, to where it's a treat every once in awhile)... but they are on so often it would get way too expensive. We do always purchase WrestleMania as a treat for our boys.

I don't think the payperview events are worth the money. They show the good clips on RAW and Smackdown and you always find out who won the match the next show after the PPV.
