Wilton Icing Colors

I use these to blend into my icing and fondant for decorated cakes. They always work well and give me the color I need! Some colors are hard to perfect and take a lot of gel, but it’s usually colors like deep blue, black, and red which are hard to achieve with any type of food dye. Overall love these things!
I have enjoyed these! Brings a whole new light to the standard blue, yellow, red and green! They have all colors and are build-able to light or darker. The color on the package is the color you will get. No more mixing and adding various ingredients.

I love Wilton's icing colors! They work great for coloring frosting for cakes or cupcakes. You only need a little bit to get a rich color, plus it is tasteless! They don't have that artificial taste that other dyes do. Highly recommend! This color created the perfect brown for my Camo cake.
I bought this set about 4 years ago and have been so happy with the colors. The results I get are amazing with the gel. No funky after tastes. Love that I can get true colors in my frostings. They can be bold or light, depending on how much you put in. Some do stain your mouth, and the blue and teal leave.. interesting.. bathroom things (you can fill in the blanks).
I was a bit wary of using this more professional product in my decorating but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use! A little goes a long way and it doesn't drastically alter the icing or cake batter flavor. The colors come out and stay vibrant.
I was Leary about buying this due to having a big cake to do but what's business without risk right? But I liked it didn't taste like chemicals or preservatives. Will defiantly recommend to anyone who is decorating bulk
