Review for: Golden Beige more...
The color Golden Beige is GORGEOUS. It is warm without looking overly yellow or overly peachy. However, it is NOT for oily skin types. I used this on a bride, since it was a foundation she really likes, and she looked great. But on my skin, it breaks apart like crazy. Even on her skin, though 99 percent flawless, I had to retouch her cheek because when someone hugged her it took some off. This foundation is a no go for me.

TL;DR: I really want to love this foundation, but it wears very poorly on my oily t-zone.

Porcelain is the lightest shade available, and it’s a great match for me (no oxidizing, either). The foundation smells like paint, but the gross scent dissipates as it dries. And it dries quickly, so I recommend working in sections to cover your face to ensure that it blends easily. I’ve been dotting it on with my fingers and using a flat topped brush to blend it out, which has been working well. I think the spatula applicator is fun, and it’s so much easier to use than just a bottle with a cap (looking at you, Maybelline Fit Me).

Right after i apply it, the finish is lovely and natural. It’s soft and matte with almost a powdery feel - I bet you could get away without using a setting powder, but I like to use a light dusting anyway. I’d say it has light-medium coverage, and I am able to build it up. I love how it looks!

My issue with this foundation is that it doesn’t wear well on my skin. I think my skin is combo-oily right now, and I find that my blackheads/clogged pores/pores in general are visible through the foundation quite soon after it settles onto my skin. I’m guessing that’s a result of my oils coming through and breaking it up, but I’m annoyed when I look at it up close. And it kind of goes downhill from there... I usually end up with bare patches on my nose, chin and cheeks. I bet I accidentally touch my face during the day (which of course doesn’t help), and the shade match is good enough that it doesn’t look horrific, but I can tell when I scrutinize it that there’s been separation and that patches have been rubbed off.

Now, I’m not someone who is looking for a bulletproof finish, but I wish it held up better. Primer extends its wear a little, but my face is always a mess by the end of the day. If you've got drier skin than I do, you might love this - but I'm disappointed.

This foundation is actually shocking. The coverage is nice while still maintaining a fairly natural skin look. I will occasionally mix this with a bit of sunscreen to sheer it out a bit, on days when I don't want/need a lot of coverage and it still looks good. At the end of the day, because my face is oily, there is some separation, this is most noticeable between my brows, but I've tried countless high end foundations with the same results, I'm not looking for miracles here, just something to cover up my shame from the night before.

I love this product so much, it has replaced my high end foundation. It wears amazing and its at the drugstore for $5. You really can't go wrong. It has great coverage, lasts long, and doesn't expose any pores or breakup throughout the day. The only thing I would say I don't like about the foundation is it smells like wet paint but the smell does not last on your face so the smell is worth it. (Photo taken from my youtube video)

Review for: Soft Ivory more...
Don't get me wrong, this foundation is beautiful. I have very oily skin, and it keeps me looking matte all day long. It blends beautifully and looks flawless on my skin. Plus, I have found an almost perfect match for my skin colour. BUT THE SCENT!!! It is absolutely horrible. It smells like paint! I love this foundation but I cannot stand the scent. Every time I apply it, the scent makes me feel nauseous. The scent isn't that noticeable once you have your makeup finished, but while applying the foundation, it is horrendous.

This is my holly grail at the drugstore, before it, i loved and still love Maybelline fit me matte version but this foundation impressed me. This is great, medium to full coverage, stays really long time, feels light on the skin and wears beautiful. If it was packaged as the high end make up i was still that impressed. Highly highly highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and also if you wondering my color is desert beige.

Tested this out after all the hype online and the great price point and I have to say I was APPALLED! I have combination skin and this clung to my dry spots like no tomorrow AND THEN SOME! my chin and jaw line looked like cakey, scaley, crocodile skin, it was disgusting. I tried it multiple times with different primers and different applications and still the same result. Not to mention I needed to use A LOT of product just for sheer coverage and it was still patchy! Going back to my NYX Total Cover foundation...

At first I wasn’t super impressed with this foundation, but I’ve grown to absolutely love it. Works really well with “oilier” feeling makeup and looks great when it’s set. It oxidizes slightly orange (way less than other foundations) and dries really quickly, so I blend a small area with a damp beauty blender right after. Overall for the price, coverage, wear, and shade match it’s a good foundation.

I usually use high end foundations and thought I would go cheaper and give this one a try since it is raved about. I see why it is raved about. It’s one of the most beautiful looking foundations I have worn and lasts well. However, upon application my face felt so dry and tingly that I had to spray it with mist spray about 10 different times. The smell of this is exactly like strong chemical wall paint! So I see why it looked so nice, it’s basically wall paint for your skin. I took it off at the end of the day and it completely clogged my pores and broke me out.

I'm in the shade Desert beige. This foundation is amazing now in summer time for me on my combo skin, stay on all day, has medium to full coverage. I know so Many people dislike the applicator but I love it, on picture make your skin look sooo nice, it has a little paint smell, but something that goes after you blend it, and is just 5.99.

Is this product good for dry skin? I use Too Faced Born this way, and I am looking for a cheap foundation that is more affordable and won't completely dry out my skin, more than it already is.
