I bought this just to try because I had heard really good things about it and everyone was so surprised at how well it worked. I must say though; the first time I tried wearing it- I did not like it. I don’t know why exactly, but I didn’t agree with what everyone was saying about it online. Until, just recently....
I ran out of my other foundation and decided to just give it another shot, and my opinions totally changed about it!! For under $8 it’s a pretty good foundation. It’s a medium coverage that is easily built up to full without looking cakey or feeling heavy. It doesn’t settle into any fine lines or creases either and doesn’t exaggerate my pores either. There isn’t a huge shade range to choose from, so some may have to mix a few shades to find one that matches their skin tone. I did find that it did transfer though a little easier than my other foundations and it did leave my skin kinda oily at the end of the day, so I did have to touch up a few times throughout the day. It’s more of a matte finish. It didn’t cause me to breakout either which I’m always paranoid about when trying any new foundations. So, if you’re looking for something that’s super adorable and easy to apply, I’d say give it a shot because, you’ll probably be surprised just like I was!

Wet n wild.. I don’t know what you are doing but keep it up!!!! I just heard all the rave about this product being so great and since I’m on a budget and can’t afford to splurge on high end foundations at moment I decided to give this baby a try. Boy am I happy I did, I love this foundation!! Its hard for me to find a foundation I truly love because I am SUPER oily and I can never really find something that controls that or at least give me a nice dewy shine. I just end up looking super oily half the time lol! But this stuff is wonderful, my skin was matte and looked great after applying. Throughout the day the tiniest bits of shine poked through but a real quick blot did the trick. Even though you really don’t even have to do that because it looks more like a healthy glow than oily! It that makes sense lol. It felt good on the skin, not very heavy. Lots of people compare it to double wear foundation and I would actually agree with that! I’ve been a fan of that foundation for a long time but I will definitely be picking this one up instead!! Its on par and even better in my opinion and it was less than 5 dollars!!!! You can’t beat that price tag for what you get. Another plus I should add is I think that this has stopped me from breaking out, I was breaking out pretty badly and they have seemed to go away after using this product. I don’t know if it was just my others foundations breaking me out or what but I am very pleased! The only downfall I’d have to say is the smell but honestly its not even that bad and goes away as soon as you blend it in. 5 stars for sure, go pick it up and try it!!!!!!!

I am not somebody who likes a foundation that I can feel on my face. I love full coverage but I don't want it to FEEL like full coverage. This foundation totally fits the bill. I love that with this foundation you can kind of decide how hard you want it to work. If I am going full glam, I will use this with a foundation brush or sponge. If I want a more "stay at home and relax" look, I will mix this with either a BB cream or moisturizer and apply with a sponge, for a little bit lighter coverage. It plays well with other concealers, blushes, bronzers and highlighters. The wear time on this is incredible. I didn't know that foundations could last this long and still look great. I work 12 hour shifts and this will still look amazing when I get home from work. The ONLY nit-picky thing I have to say about this (and DID NOT deduct a star for) is the smell. I have no idea what is in this to make that smell, but holy cow. However, given the coverage, feel and wear time on this, I'll take the smell.

I saw these foundations in my local Walgreens and they had $2 off stickers on the bottles so this affordable $6 foundation was even more affordable. I decided I wanted to give it a try and I heard decent reviews and I like Wet n Wild products. Whomp whomp there was only one teeny tiny problem though, there were only two bottles of foundations in only two available shades: the lightest in ivory and one called Bronze Beige. As someone who is of Asian descent I've seen lots of foundation shades that include "beige" in their names but never bronze. On a whim I decided why the heck not I chose the Bronze Beige shade and hoped for the best and I could always go to another store and exchange for another Beige shade if I needed to. I saw a bunch of people commenting on the scent of the foundation as something that resembling paint but I've used MAC studio fix liquid foundation and that one smells like paint. I had to give the bottle a good sniff to catch a whiff of the scent but to me I don't find the scent to be bothersome nor can I smell it on my face. Two layers gives me pretty good coverage. It's not dewy at all. I used Milani pressed foundation & concealer compact (what I had on hand) to set my foundation. It looks good together and doesn't look cakey, no creasing, and looks matte. Looks natural and not flat.
This was one of the few very rare moments that I was able to pick a drugstore foundation without being able to switch and the shade matched pretty well. Lol these are one of those moments that I feel like I accomplished something big j/k

This foundation is a great value for the money. I noticed that I have much less fast flashback and I don’t need to use a powder. Which is great for when I want to look good but don’t want to spend a lot of time on my make up. Something that I don’t like is that at Ulta the shade selection was very abysmal. I truly think I got lucky. Just because I have more mainstream skin color than somebody extremely dark or extremely pale doesn’t mean that I’m more entitled to foundation. They only had middle shades at the three locations I went to. I thought this was inappropriate and uninclusive. I truly love this formula and I am very disappointed that I can’t recommend it to all of my friends. I do appreciate that wet and wild is cruelty free, it puts the brand above others in my opinion.

I heard so many good things about this foundation and seeing how affordable and how much I enjoy wet n wild as I brand it was a no brainer to try buy this. I purchased 4 shades total of this foundation and couldn’t find a match :( which is okay but the color was not my issue. I applied this with a beauty blender, a brush, and my fingers. No application I tried made the foundation full coverage or look good on my skin. Upon first application my skin looked wet, no big deal I powdered and it looked fine. Unfortunately this made my face look caked and pulled some foundation up even tho i patted the powder into my skin. Then it oiled up on my face so easily and I looked so greasy and felt like I needed to shower. Tried this about 6 or 7 times and had the same results, and I believe it severely clogged my pores and caused a breakout. I’m happy this foundation worked for so many people but I really had no luck with it :(

Really great coverage at an affordable price. However, it is NOT for anyone with much oil on their face. After an hour, my face looks like an oil slick even with using powder. And it starts to feel heavy on my face. I LOVE the range of shades, especially since I have a red/pink undertone and it’s hard to find a foundation that isn’t yellow on me. But I really wish they’d come out with a mattifying formula. Otherwise, it’s a great foundation!wet n wild Photo Focus Foundation

Review for: Porcelain more...
It took me a few applications to get the hang of this, but I'm really impressed with the quality of this foundation for the low price. The consistency is thinner than I'm used to, probably because it's water based, and for some reason both a beauty blender and a foundation brush made it streaky and cakey. It actually looked the best when I applied it with my fingers! When I prepped my face with the photo focus matte primer, and followed up the liquid foundation with the pressed powder and the matte setting spray, I got the results I was looking for.

I'd say it's a buildable medium coverage foundation. The shade porcelain matched my fair skin pretty well, although I'd say it has kind of a yellow undertone and I have more pink. It looks great on my oily skin without sinking into my pores and holds up for about as long as more expensive foundations, without sliding. I have to apply the powder every couple hours, but I do that with every foundation, especially in the summer heat. The smell is slightly off putting but it doesn't linger after it's applied. And I would say that this foundation does hold up to its claims of making you look good in pictures.

All in all, it's another one of those Wet n Wild miracles of cheapness and efficiency. I took away one star because without the other products from the Photo Focus Line, this foundation didn't do me much good on it's own, and it definitely had a bit of a learning curve when it came to application, for me. But all these products are so cheap, I'm not even mad.

You know, I think back to the days of my youth in the 90’s and the love hate relationship I had with wet n wild products. I loved them because they were affordable but I hated them because, well... they sucked. My opinion on the brand has shifted drastically over the last year or two though.

This foundation is ridiculously good for a drugstore, $6 product. It’s got a decent shade range, blends out beautifully, has a pretty shocking wear time, and is overall, just really fantastic. It’s not a high coverage foundation but it has been my light/medium, everyday foundation for awhile now. It works on my oily skin too so that’s another shocker!

The only thing I dislike is the smell. Be prepared when you open the bottle cause she smells like paint thinner. Don’t let that scare you off though because it seems to dissipate after a minute or so.

I highly recommend it!

Is this product good for dry skin? I use Too Faced Born this way, and I am looking for a cheap foundation that is more affordable and won't completely dry out my skin, more than it already is.
