I lie this foundation! The shade range isn’t great, and the texture isn’t anything special- it’s thin and matte, so it can look a bit dry. Medium-full coverage, and makes a great option for oily skin. Because of the great opacity and no-frills formula, it’s also a good mixing medium. Add in a couple drops of highlighter to give it a dewy finish, or add some of this foundation to a primer or moisturizer to make a BB cream. You could also use this to correct another foundation’s color. There are several options right around my part of the spectrum, so I’ve included swatches of three shades for reference. L-R: Caramel, Toffee, and Cocoa. I do recommend this foundation, and it’s VERY reasonably priced at the drugstore!

I have yet to find a better foundation than this. I have oily, sensitive, and acne prone skin, and this product has become my holy grail. I have actively attempted to find a better foundation (Marc Jacobs, Becca, NARS, Hourglass, Maybelline, you name it) for my skin and nothing has been better. This lasts all day on my skin, and doesn't break up as my face produces oil throughout the day, it's almost like the oil mixes in with the foundation and makes it look more natural. The coverage is AMAZING, and I think the finish looked very natural, like a demi-matte. I have purchased this time and time again, and will continue to do so!

I used to absolutely love this foundation when I had normal skin, and you really can't beat the price! If you have normal or oily skin, you may like this as it does not dry down to look heavy or cakey and it lasts on the skin very well for such a cheap foundation. After I began using acne medications and my skin turned very dry, this became unusable, which is understandable since I can't wear any matte foundations anymore. The biggest cons to this product for me have always been the plastic spatula applicator and the strong, harsh scent. I am not a skin expert but I always felt like the spatula applicator was a little on the unsanitary side, but that could just be me. However, this product smells identical to paint. It is strong and intense, and it would probably irritate anyone even a little bit sensitive to scents.
You get what you pay for. The application of this foundation is very beautiful and it looks great for the first 3-4 hours, but this is not a long-lasting foundation. I wore it during an 8 hour shift at work and by the end of the day, parts of the foundation were off and I could see my skin peaking through. I could press my finger against my skin and the foundation would come straight off, even with setting spray, so this foundation IS NOT LONG LASTING. I would recommend it to someone who likes taking pictures, but doesn't want to waste money on an expensive, long lasting foundation (because why use a long lasting foundation if you're just going to wash off your makeup after taking pictures). Like I said, you get what you pay for. Definitely worth the price, but not good for every day wear.
I fist saw this foundation on the shelf at Walgreen and was tempted to buy it, but I always do research before i do. I went on YouTube and found so many "beauty guru's" doing reviews and found that they liked it a lot. I went back and bought it. I FELL IN LOVE!! I absolutely love this product! and especially for $6!!! The coverage is just a light coverage, but that's all i like is light. it stays on my face all day long, and they have so many different colors to choose from. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good light coverage cheap foundation.

This foundation is a dream come true; a low price tag, beautiful finish, great coverage, did I mention low price tag! Seriously, this foundation is amazing. I love the little spatula applicator, but the true magic lies in the formula of this foundation. I am very picky with my foundations and I never would have expected such gorgeous results in a little bottle that only cost me $6 at CVS! It blends easily and beautifully into the skin and creates a flawless finish with great coverage, and it is buildable which is amazing for covering my acne scars. You do not need a lot of this foundation and it has never looked cakey on me. It also lasts on the skin all day long! My favorite expensive foundations have officially been replaced with this little bottle of wonder.

If you want a matte foundation, this is the foundation for you. I love using this as my base to make classic looks and it is 100% buildable. Also, use minimal powder. And oh my goodness I can’t believe it is only $5. I also suggest mixing two shades because there really isn’t that big of a shade range (which is NOT what the industry should ever have, everyone should have their shade in a foundation range). Politics aside, this is an amazing foundation. I kind of like the spatula applicator, it helps me blend a little at a time instead of dotting it all over my face and having some of the foundation dry down and blending. I like it better than a pump even though pumps can be nice for mixing and all. This is a must have for all you Matte lovers out there!!

Honestly, the smell is so awful that I can hardly stand to put it on my face. It smells like paint, or really strong chemicals. It got to the point where I actually had to stop using it because it would make me sick to smell that god-awful smell. HOWEVER, if you aren’t scent sensitive like me, i will say this foundation did good coverage-wise and made my skin look nice. it took quite awhile to dry down so my face felt wet for awhile but overall its an okay foundation if you can get past the smell. i don’t fancy the applicator at all but whatever floats your boat. Not the best foundation I’ve tried but good for $5.99
This product is extremely full coverage , similar to my higher end foundations but for a much more affordable price. Perfect for anyone who likes a matte finish. Lasts all day with or without a primer
Soooo this stuff right here!!!!!! Girl! Go buy it. It it so good I don't need to review but I would honestly compare this to my Lancôme teint idol foundation that I looooove. Definitely medium full coverage. Dewy look. Non oily. Does not break out my sensitive skin. True to color and great for us ran girls their color range is great. My skin is so hard to match. The price is right could not be better make sure you stick up. Just do yourself a favor and buy two and your summer shade when you go to purchase. I'm telling you I am not a drugstore girl when it comes to foundation....I'm a snob I bought this in a very desperate moment and now I'm ashamed of the tude I have the associate when she offered me the cheapest foundation on the floor. This is also very long wearing if you have a good translucent powder you are good for just about 12 hours

What type of coverage does this foundation give you?
