I'm actually really impressed with this foundation. It does have a harsh smell with it's still wet but once it's set it looks so nice! It is more of a demi-matte finish and is still kinda tackey once it's set. The first time I wore this, I didn't set it with powder, I just ran out of my winter shade of setting powder so I did without. But i recommend setting your face with this. Also, if you pull on your eye when applying eyeliner, be careful it will sometimes move the foundation. This also works really well with their contour powder and brush, and it stays in place for a liquid highlighter! I'm also pleased at their color range, with them being such an affordable brand!
I have sooo many foundations on deck, both drugstore and high end, yet this is the one I reach for every day. Every day. I was doubtful that Wet n Wild could deliver an amazing foundation (even though I've loved their lipsticks for years), especially at such a low price. I am sooo glad that I tried it! I love the shade range, plenty of options for us super pale/translucent ladies, and it applies so well. The paddle applicator took a little getting used to, and if I had to pick a con to this product, the paddle would be it. However, I just swipe some on the back of my hand and then use my beauty blender to dab and apply it to my face. It blends so well, provides excellent medium coverage that is, in my opinion, a satin finish. I have no problem with this wearing all day and still looking great. This foundation is a must-try, in my opinion, and, at such a low price, what do you have to lose?

I cannot believe this is the same brand I used in middle school! I didn't even know if was still around until I saw a Laura Lee video in which she uses all Wet n Wild products. She put on this foundation and I was blown away. Medium-full coverage. I love this with a beauty blender. It dries with such a natural finish and the color was an exact match. This wore so well, 6+ hours later I could still tell it was on and didn't crease. I did use my NYX Matte Spray Primer with this. I used it on a photoshoot and couldn't believe how natural it looked. Such a fan, will definitely repurchase!
This foundation came in and shook my whole world up! For under 5$ at Walmart it blew my wildest expectations out of the water! Lightweight & amazing matte finish! There are certainly more pros than cons but with medium to buildable coverage & a beautiful price point I will certainly be buying this beauty again! I already have 2! The other great thing about this is unlike wet&wild previous coverall foundation it has a much wider range of shades to choose from! FYI: The accompanying concealers & highlighters are definitely a purchase worth making as well!!
I've been obsessed with Wet N Wild's new products lately so when they announced a new foundation line, I was so excited! I bought the shade soft beige. I think this is a great cold weather foundation for me especially since I have combination skin. I think the packaging is great and I love the spatula applicator. It makes applying the foundation really easy. I use this with a damp Real Techniques blender, and it leaves a soft, natural finish. I've been using this foundation for about 2.5 months, and it has not caused any breakouts on my sensitive skin. Reasons for taking off 1 star: 1. Like other reviewers, I also agree that I don't like the smell of the foundation, but it does go away quickly after application. 2. It does not have the coverage I want. I do have a lot of acne scarring, so it does not cover the scars completely. I do have to use a concealer if I want it to be more full coverage. Even with some of these cons this is still a great inexpensive buy. I've been recommending this to my closest friends.
I'm usually sort of a snob about my makeup - my collection is 90% high end/luxury, 10% drug store - but I love this foundation. It gives great buildable coverage, sets easily, stays with very little transfer (even on my oily t-zone), and doesn't sink into my pores like some other drugstore foundations I won't mention. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey. The finish is beautiful (satin-matte) and as promised, photographs beautifully. The color range is pretty good, though as with any drugstore foundation its difficult to find your best match since you can't swatch. I docked one star for the fairly strong chemical (though not entirely unpleasant) smell and for the ridiculous packaging. I appreciate the glass bottle and the effort at an (doe-foot? spatula?) applicator but it's completely useless and just ends up making application messier than it needs to be. Next time, Wet n Wild, use a pump!!

I have had this product for quite a few months, and I really enjoy it. I use this product with another foundation because I did purchase a shade too light for me. It is quite a hard foundation to blend, but once it is blended, I find that it's really good! It's quite a high coverage foundation for the price point, too. On the skin, it can get a little cakey. I recommend trying to use a setting mist to make sure that the product has an easier time blending, too. The other weird thing is that the product has a spatula applicator, which was a little off-putting especially because it can be quite easy to spread germs across your face. That being said, I think that this foundation is a great option for a higher coverage foundation at such an amazing price. Wet N Wild have a great shade range, and I think that it is definitely worth the purchase to try if you are thinking about it.
Q & A
Is this product good for dry skin? I use Too Faced Born this way, and I am looking for a cheap foundation that is more affordable and won't completely dry out my skin, more than it already is.
What type of coverage does this foundation give you?
Does this product actually smell like paint? Does the smell linger on your skin after you finish applying?
Do you guys like the coverage of this foundation?
I need a good foundation for my mixte skin, do you recommend me this one??
