I think this is a really good highlighter on a budget. I picked up this bad boy after the gorgeous shade caught my eye. I have lots of warm-colored highlighters but nothing in the "cool" shades.

The product comes in a nice container with a hinged top that allows you to clearly see what you are buying. The powder has a beautiful flower design which adds a nice interesting touch you don't see very often. It is unscented, and the powder feels firm to the touch which I like because that means it'll stay put in the pan and not make a big mess on my brush that will inevitably end up all over my bathroom counter. It does not have a buttery feel to it in my opinion but honestly I don't think that it is needed for what you would be using it for. When using a fingertip to drag across the pan and apply directly, the color is vivid and just beautiful on its own; however, you can use a highlighter or contouring brush and apply this to give a more subtle glow to your face. The application is even, and I don't notice any flaking or excessive fallout that would ruin the rest if my makeup. On close look the powder is composed of tiny particles of glitter so if you are not a glitter person this may not work for you.

I am very impressed with this product overall, and would be interested to try out some other shades as it is such a great value for the money. To be honest though, there are some nicer brands out there that have a better feel to them (and even some that are scented which I'm a sucker for...) and are more vivid but those brands cost a LOT more money so if you are on a budget this is a really nice product. So, if I could give two ratings I would give 4 stars for a good highlighter overall and 5 stars for good highlighter on a budget.

Okay first off Wet N Wild has made an INSANE comeback. I remember when I was young and first getting into makeup that I used this brand because it was affordable for me at the time but it really wasn’t anything special. I feel like now they really stepped their game up because they are hitting it out of the park. These highlighters are literally only $5 and they’re SO blinding. If you don’t like one of those super blinding highlights you’re probably going to have to use a light hand with these because they really pack a punch. The only thing I don’t like is that towards the end of the day, I want to say maybe 6/7 hours of wear it really starts to settle into my fine lines of my face and accent everything but for the price and the longevity it’s such a steal and I would highly recommend it.

I LOVE this highlighter!!!! And no one could convince me there is another one out there that is better. So i picked this up while i was buy some powder not expecting to get much out of a 4.69 highlighter but boy was i wrong. I NEVER got even half the compliments I do now since switching from high end highlighters to this one. My personal favorite color is precious petals and i use crown of canopy sometimes on my top lid because I personally think its color is too blush like to be a highlighter. I've attached two photos to show that the highlight is so popping you can see it in roller coaster photos! Please excuse the facial expressions lol

Best drugstore highlight by far!!!!! This is awesome for the price. It smells a little weird not gonna lie but once you get past that you will LOVE this product. At first I wasn't too excited about it but once I began to appreciate the subtle highlight I fell in love. The only downside is that when I put this on my friend she had an allergic reaction to it which was pretty bad. We still haven't figured out which ingredient it was but it did make her face very puffy and she was in a lot of pain, so just be cautious if you have had allergic reactions to drugstore products before. However I do love this mainly because you are able to make it blinding or create a more natural glow! I love it but if you are sensitive to drugstore ingredients be careful!!! NOTE: please ignore the quality of the pics i'm on my laptop

This is defidently a great highlighter exspecially for the price! Its kind of hard to find this shade (Blossom Glow) but i finally did and i love it. Its pigmented, buildable, and shimmery. Gives my face a nice glow. U can put a little on to give u a natural glow or build it up for a glowing look. Absolutely one of the best highlighters i tried exspecially a drugstore one. Why spwnd lots of money on a hugh end a highlighter when u can get a quality one for only $5. Save ur money for other stuff and try this and im sure u will not be dissapointed. I love the shade of this one for my skin tone too. This one and the Milani highlighter in afterglow are my favorites.

I ordered a bunch of these online when I heard beauty influencers on YouTube rave about them. I figured I didn’t have much to lose at that price point, AND on top of that, Wet N Wild was doing 20% off their entire site so I jumped in and grabbed about 5 or 6 of these. So anyway, I definitely think they a great option for someone on a budget looking for a blinding highlight in a variety of shades. They don’t feel as buttery in the pan as I would like, almost a tiny bit dry and chalky, but they def pack a punch and look glowing on the skin. You just have to blend them in a tiny bit more. Which is totally fine with me! And some colors are better than others I think. The more gold, neutral colors seem a bit softer and more smooth, while the purple shade (Royal Calyx) is a bit more dry and glittery...and I don’t prefer glittery highlights so much which is a totally personal preference. And I honestly HATE the packaging. I know Wet N Wild is super inexpensive, but I think they could make something a little more sturdy and nicer looking in general. But again, that is just my personal opinion/preference as well. But yeah, if you are looking for a nice, potentially blinding, budget-friendly highlight formula, I would def check these out!

I got this highlighter based on reviews of YouTube beauty gurus. I had heard people rave about this highlighter and for the price, I decided to give it a try. Being in my 40's, some highlighters I have tried in the past tend to exaggerate any pores or texture issues. This highlighter does enhance the look of pores somewhat, but nothing that a dab of setting powder over will not fix. The reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars was for this reason. It is a very "in your face" highlighter. You can downplay it, but I think it is more for the user that wants a bling highlight look. It does wear extremely long-I work 12 hour shifts and can see my gorgeous highlight action after I get home from work. Well worth the price.

Best drugstore highlighter by far. Actually, this is probably one of my top 3 highlighters -- drugstore or high end. It goes on so smooth and it truly melts into your skin/the rest of your make up. It also lasts forever on the skin and the color is the most beautiful light gold of all time. I am in looove. I was kinda bummed that I had to get this on Amazon for a higher price since where I live it's always out of stock in every. single. store. However, I can confidently say that it is more than worth it to pay more if you can't find this in stock in any of your local drugstores/supermarkets. This highlighter is soooo worth it.

Wow I am so super shocked and impressed @wetnwild was on sale at the drugstore yesterday when I decided to go back to my middle school roots and test some cheap products this highlight is incredible. I have been seeing a lot how they have upped their make up game and I have to give them an A+ on this highlighter it has a high shine and even though its buildable it wasn't needed. My cheekbones glowed it actually worked 10x better then my higher end highlighters. I know some may not want the strong highlighter but i would rather have a product work to well instead of not well enough. I find i have a hell of a time getting the shine I want from many of my expensive highlights i sometimes can't even get a light glow its really frustrating when you are usually pale and over exausted and pay $40-$60 or more for a product to bring some life to your skin and instead it adds a dull bland color instead.

Next time I fully think i will hit wet n wild before going a more expensive route because if the wet n wild sucks your only out $3-$5 vs $40 and up.

Try this if you love a high easily blendable shine without much work.

Great job wet n wild great job!

This is a great affordable highlight, a more satin / wet like finish. I swatched this dry for the photo but when applied wet it's obviously more intense.
Shade Golder Flower crown is similar to the limited edition "Gold Bar" highlight but not the same.
I find when side by side he Gold Bar to be slightly more pigmented and a true gold color where as "Golden Flower Crown" is more champagne like. However, still a really great highlight incase you didn't get your hands on the limited edition.
