I just read an article about how shampoo is "bad for your hair" and it suggested WEN. What do you guys think? Is it worth the buy and better for your hair?? Would love some input before I buy it.

Hello Erin . I would love to explain why Shampoo is bad for your hair and it s very simple on how you can change that. Most shampoos contain Lauryl Sulfates which gives it that rich lather most people enjoy but what its really doing to your hair is stripping stripping and stripping your hair i feel like people don't emphasis how much shampoo can damage you hair. So all the sulfates basically strip your hair of the natural oils which makes you hair very dry. This is why your not supposed to wash your everyday. But there is really an easy fix to that. So you don't even have to spend 40 dollars on when . All you have to do is search for shampoos that are sulfate free and you don't have to read the labels usually you can ask a sales associates or just go online and search a list of sulfate free shampoos. One product is the not your mothers way to grow long and strong sulfate shampoo. This still lathers !! and gets your hair clean but doesn't strip it . of course some sulfate shampoos can cost a little more depending on the price range you buy your hair products but its all worth it at the end. And if your not all about that extra step maybe try co washing in between shampooing. Co washing is simply washing your hair with condioner . There are also cleansing conditioners that don't lather as much but still get your hair clean! hope my answer helped

I loved Wen cz it worked wonderful, but it was trial and error. I don't think the whole system is necessary to buy just the Cleanser. Its kind of expensive but once you find the one that works best for you(read the fragrances), you won't regret it :).
