Wellness Super5Mix Large Breed Puppy Health Puppy Food
This large breed puppy food has facilitated such a great growth in my new 5 month Labrador retriever. We started feeding her this at 4 months and we are so glad we did! Yes, it’s pretty expensive, but compared to all the other food products on the market — it was so worth the added cost! I know that a good pet food has protein as the first two ingredients, and this does. So I knew right off the bat it was better than half of the other foods out there. I have noticed my puppy has steadily gained weight (healthily) and she has a steady flow of energy. She never crashes or has so much energy I can’t handle her. As for the taste, labs will eat just about anything so I can’t really comment on that, but she has never had a problem eating it. As a human, I notice the smell is a lot more natural than other pet foods. So that is reassuring to me knowing that she won’t be consuming chemicals or by products. If you have a large breed puppy, it is important to monitor their growth to make sure they don’t grow too quickly otherwise they can have joint damage. This food is everything I could ask for and more! My pup loves it and I am happy that she is healthy. :)
We started our first dog on Wellness Toy Breed 5 years ago because it is grain-free and specific to the needs of our toy poodle. When we adopted our (much larger) labradoodle, we knew Wellness was still the best choice for us. We’ve had her for 7 months and she is happy, healthy, and well-fed. We are satisfied and loyal Wellness customers.
Grain free and my puppy seems to really love it! He is very regular and consistent in his bowels, so it digests well. I had read many decent reviews on it and feed it to our 6 month old German Shepherd. I would most definitely recommend. Lots of added nutrients and real meat!
This is a great product for both of my two doggies. This is pretty pricey for everyday food but provides them with energy to last all day long. This dues run right through them and required you to let them put more often
Wellness was an excellent food, but man was it expensive. My dog loved it and her coat was so shiny. She stayed at a healthy weight as well. The price just kills me for a large breed dog.
I have a doberman puppy I did some research on good dog foods, and tried a couple different brands and it came to this brand that did not upset her tummy. I have been feeding this to her since she was 12 weeks old. I feed her food to her in 3 different portions in a day. (breakfast, lunch, dinner) There is only 2 other items that I will give her to eat. 1.) With her breakfast, I mix in probiotics. 2.) treats when in training. Since she is my service dog, she is out and about with me in public quit a bit, I get a lot of compliments on how beautiful and shiny her coat is. and comments like, "wow, you take really good care of her." I really feel comfortable feeding this dog food to her. I recommend that you give it a try and see if it's a food fit for your furbaby's tummy too.
This food is a little on the pricey side but it really is premium dog door. One was the ingredients and it is just packed with nutrients. I encountered this food for the firay time at a local pet store my dog has allergies to wheat and corn so needed something with out those ingredients. Believe it or not it is pretty hard to find I think it might be because it is such a cheap filler.
I have a Saint Bernard puppy. She is currently 7 1/2 months old. I have been feeding her Wellness Large Breed Puppy food for several months now. She is doing fantastic! She weighs 80+ lbs. I switched her from her previous food because she was scratching a lot and had some red splotches on her belly. That has cleared up since being on Wellness.
Wellness makes great dog food. I had issues in the past with my dogs having sensitive stomachs and digestion issues with previously used food. I researched good dog food and this is one I found. Wellness is moderately priced and has good ingredients listed. The number one ingredient being meat you can't go wrong. The wellness core election also offers grain free.
Excellent dog food! I have a 10 year old Rednose Pitbull and a 1 year old American Bulldog and what's great about the Wellness brand is that there are many different options to choose from for your dog's diet. My Pitbull has a sensitive stomach so I'm able to choose from the Wellness selection.
