I have been planning to get rid of sheet masks and replace them with one product for a long time now and I was told that this one would be ideal for my dry skin. But, to be honest, I didn't see much difference. It made my skin feel a little tacky and the gel Formula remains sticky even after drying...I wouldn't consider buying it again, as it isn't worth the money you have to pay and all that hype.

It moisturizes my skin, woke up to soft skin in the morning but it makes my skin broke out. I broke out during the first use, at first I was confused what triggers the break out. during the second use, my skin broke out again in the morning. so I'm sure its because of the laneige sleeping mask. I have oily skin and the hydration is not overpowering for me. sad that it broke me out

My skin is oily and water based creams make it brighter and healthy. This one controls sebum and removes oil from my skin replacing it with water, making even my pimples look smaller and my scars have faded away

I recently bought the Sephora skin-transforming treatments box, which had a sample size of this mask. I was super excited to try this out since I had never tried a Laneige product before! What it is: An overnight, moisture-recharging gel mask that quickly absorbs while you sleep to deeply hydrate skin. This sleeping mask is meant for all skin-types and is supposed to target dryness, dullness, uneven texture, and fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and formaldehydes to name a few. How to use it: Apply an even layer across the face, leave it on overnight, and rinse it off in the morning. I use it once or twice a week as the product suggests. According to the product’s website, this mask is innovative for the following reasons: * Hydro Ionized Mineral Water that’s highly concentrated with 6 moisture-maximizing minerals to deliver high doses of long-lasting moisture to dehydrated skin. * Calming Sleepscent, infused with orange flower, rose, and sandalwood, to relax/comfort while hunza apricot and evening primrose extracts brighten and purify fatigued skin. * Sleep-Tox, a purification technology that helps calm your skin from the daily damage/stressors it experiences and gives your skin that well-rested appearance. * Moisture Wrap, a technology that has a moisture-rich beta-glucan network to form an 8-hour time-release moisturizing layer over skin. My thoughts: I love the luxurious feel of this mask. It has a thick, gel-like consistency, but goes on sheer. It feels refreshingly cool and absorbs into my skin after a few minutes, which is great since it doesn’t leave behind any residue on my pillow. I’ve been using for a few weeks now and while I haven’t noticed any major changes in my skin, I have noticed my skin feels hydrated and soft the morning after using it. I also haven’t noticed any brightening effects or changes in my fine lines. This mask has been great however during the drying, winter season. The 2.3 oz. retails for $25.00 and a little goes a long way so even my sample size will last me for a good while! I think this is a great sleeping mask for those with dry skin or for those that just want extra hydration. As far as using it for uneven texture, brightening, or fine lines/wrinkles I don’t think it does much, at least it didn’t for me. Water Sleeping Mask

I tried a small 20 ml of this mask and I enjoyed it for what it is. For a high-end skincare product, the price is relatively low (33$ can) for the quantity you get (70 ml). It says to apply this after your moiturizer but you can also use it alone after your serum. It's a cooling gel that feels soothing on the skin. The wet/sticky feeling that it leaves behind doesn't stay as it slowly penetrates the skin and the rest will dry, acting like a moisture barrier whitout sticking on everything your face touches. I like most of the ingredients. There's great stuff making the formula such as sodium hyaluronate, primrose root extract, apricot fruit extract, beta-glucan etc. These have antioxidant properties and are great skin soothers/skin resplenishers. Unfortunatly there's also fragrance and an ingredient listed as alcohol, these two are skin sensitizing agents. Despite how little of them there are in the product it could still affect your skin badly. I have no idea why alcohol is part of the formulation but in my opinion it shouldn't be there at all as it could defnitely irritate your skin which is paradoxical because this product is suppose to be a skin soother. My skin didn't react badly to it but I definitely wouldn't recommend for people with sensitive skin. I think that this would work on every skin type. It could be used all year long if you put it on top of your moiturizer but if you want to use it alone then summer time might be better, especially if you have dry skin. I don't want to recommend a product that has alcohol in it but I also don't think that it's the worst. I might retry it in the future because I liked how my skin felt while I was using it. But if you really want to treat your skin then you should try the Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate And Glow Dream Mask . This is one of the best sleeping mask out there. Yes the price is steeper but it's definitely worth the investment.

I received this product in my Sephora Play box. I use this mask at night as my last step in my night skincare routine (I have combination skin, oily in some areas and dry in others). After all my products - cleanser, toner, beauty water, serum, moisturizer, eye cream - I then apply the water sleeping mask evenly on top of my skin products. I can see that the product absorbs into my skin even with all the other products on my skin. In the morning after washing the product off, my face looks and feels beautiful. It’s soft and looks so radiant. I have a healthy glow. I have started to use it every night and I can already tell my face is a lot clearer than it was before. I'm OBSESSED! I would buy a million times over. It's so light, it feels and smells nice and delicate. LOVE this product!

The sleeping mask comes in a sturdy and light weight plastic jar, which is easy to carry around. It is currently available in 2.7 oz jar, but my first purchase is 50 ml jar which is a part of a Laneige skincare kit. I loved the aqua blue theme of the packaging and product. Coming to the mask, the mask is gel textured and extremely light weight on skin. It absorbs in micro seconds and leaves a total non-greasy feel on skin. It carries mild yet intoxicating fragrance of roses. It is formulated with ceramides, mineral water and extracts from orange flower, sandalwood and roses. Also, it is free from harmful chemicals and not tested on animals. The product is suitable for all skin types and dermatologically tested. Now coming to the performance and results, the overnight mask is a burst of hydration for dry skin. It really repairs skin and improves it within few days’ usage. You can clearly feel the softness in skin and the difference is visible in the overall health of the skin. Infused with apricot, chestnut and so any other minerals, it turned out to be a great remedy for my tired and ignored skin. It contributes towards renewal of skin by evening out skin tone. However, there isn’t any significant difference seen in hyper pigmentation or fading of blemishes. Pros of Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: • Mildly fragranced with roses. • Evens out skin tone. • Heals fatigued skin. • Improves overall skin health by providing intense hydration. • Fairly priced. • Great packaging. • Doesn’t break out. Cons of Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: • You will still need a serum for blemishes and hyperpigmentation issues. Water Sleeping Mask

Amazing! I use this sleeping mask almost every night as the last step to my routine. I use toner, serum(s) & snail cream beneath. It helps everything absorb into the skin better & leaves my face feeling incredibly refreshed, plump & glowing by morning. I don't think it does much for acne, but it doesnt break me out and Im pretty prone to cystic acne. I find it assists my snail creams healing properties. All in all I really enjoyed the sample size too, it lasted me almost an entire month. You only need a small amount to cover your face thoroughly. I've got two sample sizes left and the Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask & Lavender Sleeping Mask on the way! Can't wait to try them after the great results from this mask. Check out YesStyle if you're interested in trying some amazing priced sample sizes or great deals on Korean skincare! Use the code *AINSXO97* to save some extra $$! Water Sleeping Mask

* K-beauty skincare products Laneige water sleeping mask Which skin type is it good for? - Oily - normal -Combination - Dry - Sensitive Solutions for: - Dryness - Dullness and uneven texture - Fine lines and wrinkles What it is: An overnight, moisture-recharging gel mask that quickly absorbs while you sleep to deeply hydrate skin. Recharge your dehydrated skin while you sleep with this innovative mask. It’s formulated with highly concentrated Hydro Ionized Mineral Water to deliver high doses of moisture to stressed, parched skin. Calming Sleepscent™, infused with orange flower, rose, and sandalwood, and it relaxes and comforts while apricot and evening primrose extracts to brighten and purify fatigued skin. The result: skin looks and feels radiant, refreshed, and soft so you wake up with soft, glowing skin. There is just something about K-Beauty where the formulations of their skincare are so sophisticated. This is such a lovely mask. At first I thought it was odd to place this over moisturizer but it really does the trick. It is like a hydration booster for your moisturizer. I apply a think layer of my night cream and sleep in it. In the morning my skin is fresh, soft and very hydrated. When used alone, this mask will not benefit your skin at all. It is designed to optimize what moisture your skin currently has the next morning. It is listed in the instructional pamphlet in the first paragraph as an "intensive moisturizing sleeping mask" and I think there is where the confusion comes in. If you stop reading there, you won't reap the benefits of the product.

Water Sleeping Mask Is this worth it? What does it do for you skin?
tina P. • il y a 10 jours
I wouldn't say so. Too plain, not convenient gel Formula, sticky, not any noteworthy difference next morning. You had better use a night moisturiser or serum, same thing, more obvious results and you will have it for a long time.
