I was lucky enough to have a rental 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan while my vehicle is serviced. I really enjoyed driving this SUV and it is on my list of possible Vehicles when I trade in my current vehicle. There was a lot of really nice features in the 2017 model that I was given and a few things that I wish it had but it didn't. Overall this is a very nice SUV, the length is very nice and it drives great. It has a huge sunroof but with the cold weather I wasn't able to test it out. I wish it did get better gas mileage but for an SUV it's not horrible. I highly recommend this vehicle if you're looking for an SUV

I recently purchased a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan and I have to say it was by far the best purchase that I have ever made! I love the third row seating. It leaves plenty of room for the dog to ride along when the third row is collapsed. Even though it is an SUV it still drives just as well as my 2015 Volkswagen Jetta did. It's not bulky and hard to maneuver like other SUVs that I have driven in the past. All around great vehicle.

I have a Volkswagen Jetta and let me just say, I love it! It’s great on gas. Plenty of trunk space. It’s extremely fast. I’ve never had to get maintenance and I’ve had it for 2 years. I would recommend this to everyone #vw #jetta

I love my Passat. I purchased it specifically for it's safety features. At the time I was responsible for a small child and I wanted to be sure that the car was had a high safety rating- as well as being sporty. I had always been a Honda girl before.
I had ridden in my bosses Jettaand loved how comfy and luxe it felt. I knew I wanted a four door, and I wanted whoever sat in the back to be comfortable. That's why I ended up going with the pass at- it's super roomy. The backseats lay down flat and your trunk is "HUUUUUUUUUUUGE". I was able to put a plastic play center gym thing with a rock wall for toddlers in the back. Laying flat.
At Christmas in 2009 I was Tboned by a recycle truck. It was unexpected out of nowhere... Very much like their commercial where that happens. He hit me so hard and fast I didn't even comprehend I'd beenhit. The passenger doors were puncutred & torn but I was OK with some injuries but feeling that if I had been in my Honda it would have been worse.

My first vehicle was a yellow, Volkswagen Rabbit.  Everybody knew it was me because it was the only yellow Rabbit around.  It also carried all of my friends (seriously... it was like a clown car... anytime I stopped... countless, teenage clowns came out).  I drove that car like a bat out of hell; and I drove the hell out of her... but she never gave up on me and she never let me down.  I could count on that car in the worse of snowstorms, situations or just a really bad day.  My Volkswagon Rabbit got me through those horrible teenage years and then chugged on and carried me through half of my 20's.  I love and miss my little, yellow, Rabbit.  I hope to own another Volkswagen again and definitely recommend.

I have owned three Volkswagens in my life and every single one has created nothing but humongous problem is that even the mechanics can't figure out. As far as design and features they always are loaded with the best things. Even though my 2008 bug still had Extreme manual seats. Unfortunately they make these cars very hard to work on and expensive and the most random things break. I had many sensor issues in all three of them and I would not recommend this brand

omg i dont even know where to start! i love love loveddddddd my VW GOLF, I had her for 9 years and she was so good to me up until the very end. So many people I know have had many many issues with their VW's, but I am so glad to say that I am not one of them. I currently have a HONDA FIT, but I would go back to VW in a heartbeat. They need to go back to offering 4 door manuals though, apparently they only do 2 door stick shifts because they are considered "sports cars" LAME

My first car was a new-to-me 2005 VW Jetta and after twelve years and 155k miles it's still running! Maintenance costs have crept up considerably in the past few years but that's expected of a car this age. It's cute, gets phenomenal gas mileage, and drives well. It's not as spacious as the Passat or CC Coupe but as someone who typically doesn't utilize the backseat, I don't mind. I  always get my car serviced at VW dealers and the staff are so nice! They don't pressure me to buy a new car every visit or nickle and dime me for unnecessary services.

For my 15th birthday my parents purchased a VW Cabrio. I was thrilled, I got a cute converable, the rents were also happy thinking the brand represents safety and reliability. It didn't live up to any of the hype!
First issue was with the automatic transmission locking up and would not be able to switch gears occasionally. So when I tried to explain to my father for weeks I would never be able to recreate the issue. Finally I refuser do to use the car for weeks opting to ride with friends or take the bus. My father to prove a point began driving the car for a week to "prove it was all in my head and I was a nervous driver" after one day in the car he stormed in for dinner saying that he left it at VW to look at and that there truest was an issue.
The mechanics were either absolute morons or they didn't bother the resolve the issue we took it in 4 times while under manufacturing warntee siting the same thing every time. We were told there was no issues. Not until it was a month out of warntee did someone "find" the issue was the bolts that hold my transmission thing in place 2 were missing and the remaining were lose. They had the audacity to try and charge us $400 mind you this is after they had been charging us for all the check ups.
After a few years I had a car accident (I was not at fault) the plastic bumper crumbles the sides crinkle and the glass shattered and to top it off the frame was easily bent. What a waste, oh and there insurance would not replace only fix)
I would never recommend this brand to my worst enemy. To add insult to injury if you have any issue at all it's a beginning price point of about $300 - $400 dollars because it was a foreign car.
