Vivienne Westwood Boudoir is a very bold, intense perfume and not for the shrinking violet! Its suited to those that like vintage style perfumes that are oriental and floral and are fans of scents like Yves Saint Laurent, Opium. Its definitely a statement piece and applied sparingly will last you the whole day through to night. The bottle is beautiful and the lid forms the shape of Vivienne Westwood trademark Orb which stood for her lifelong motto "Respect the past, but never be trapped by it." Her design aesthetic in fashion has always been a sort of cross between Punk meets Royalty and this perfume very much lives by that.

Ein Duft, der sofort auffällt,sinnlich, intensiv und unverwechselbar. Für mich ist er nicht alltäglich, sondern etwas Besonderes: warm, blumig und mit einer verführerischen Tiefe. Boudoir gibt mir das Gefühl von Eleganz und Selbstbewusstsein.

People either love or hate this scent. I love it. It works with my ph levels (apparently natural redheads have higher acidity levels in skin and that’s me.) it has a powdery, tobacco, musky, exotic floral scent. I first bought in 1998 and I am glad I stocked up because it is hard to find and when you do it’s expensive. I also have boudoir dusting body powder with brush which is holy grail status. Lucky me!
