I have been on the hunt for the perfect protein bar.. and thought this would be it.. uhm wrong I was… the smell is straight up cheap protein.. after taste was there still of the cheap protein.. packaging cute but would not buy again!!

I enjoy the taste of Vital Proteins x Jennifer Aniston Peanut Butter Fudge. I have a tree nut allergy, so it’s hard to come by a protein bar that’s relatively healthy and that doesn’t contain tree nuts. The label states it “may contain” tree nuts so *beware*. I am not highly allergic, so it hasn’t had an effect on me. The bar does contain peanuts and has a chocolate flavor. Personally, I can’t taste the chocolate too much, but the flavor is pretty decent. I eat the bars when I need a snack throughout the day between meals. It satisfies my cravings. The after taste is bizarre, but that’s expected from a low sugar protein bar. However, the aftertaste doesn’t linger, which is good. Aside from the aftertaste, my only other con is the bars are pricey and you only get (4) in a box. As you can see in the photo, the bars are a bit small as well; understandably, to keep the calories low. Overall, I’m happy with the bars and I will continue to buy them for my personal dietary needs/reasons.
