I have tried many other brand with 84 to 85% butterfat but vital farms still works the best for me! It doesn't break into chunks and pieces. It is so malleable which is very important for croissant making. I'm so thankful for vital farm, it helped me make successful croissants.

This may be the best butter ever! I love that this brand has a mission to provide ethically sourced goodness back to our family table. Pasture raised and 90% grass fed this butter is definitely better!! 2 ingredients only: pasteurized cream and salt. The packaging is nice, too. A bit more costly than other butters but totally worth the extra change.
