  • "This is the best eyeshadow palette I have purchased so far, hands down. And I do not say this lightly as I've purchased quite a few palettes. It is super pricey, but you get so much product and it's so pigmented you literally can just dab your brush into the colours and you get so much payoff. Being this pigmented could also be a bad thing if the colours don't blend... but these shadows blend PERFECTLY. I can't wait to try other palettes by this brand. Finding them is so difficult! But if you get a chance, scoop them up! " in 70 reviews
  • "This is truly a make-up artist's palette! I had my eye on this palette for a long time. I honestly debated whether I thought $80 for an eyeshadow palette would be worth it. But I decided I would purchase this and if I was unhappy I'd return it. Luckily I will NOT be needing to do that! It's rare that you find a decent neutral palette that isn't overwhelmed with shimmer and satin shades. This is straight up neutral matte silky color! I love it because you can use this palette for more than just eyeshadow! I've used it for my eyes, highlighting/contouring, brow filling, blush and liner! These colors blend like a dream either wet or dry. When dry they apply sheer but still pigmented and they blend seamlessly even with just using your fingers. When you use them wet, they take on the texture of cream shadows which makes a more professional looking application- great for photography. I've used some of the warmer middle shades as a cheek stain/blush/bronzer. It's just an overall stunning palette to play around with and use professionally. I do however wish that for $80 this was a bigger palette..meaning there should be more grams of color for that price. Still, for the versatility this palette offers, it can command such a price. Highly recommended for makeup artists and anyone else who just loves experimenting." in 32 reviews

As an artist and designer, I love colors and especially beautiful matte palettes like this one.

Here are my thoughts on this - I love the formula! It grabs on to bare skin and dry skin too so you don’t even need a base. I forgot to wear one and I would wear this palette and it is just perfect.

I did order a very cheap beauty treats palette that are suppose to the dupe of this palette- I have to say that beauty treats palette is also good but the formula and performance is not the same. The beauty treats palette is much more powdery so ur does not stick to the skin without a base.

One thing to note is that the brand does not recommend using this on the eyes, I do believe the reason being is that the bright colors stains the skin. I had neon pink colourpop shadows and the bright red shades in the beauty treats palette also stains my lid. That is okay with me. It does come off after leaving some emollient base or oil on the lid and let it sit and breakdown the stain. To me it is not a big deal because I can still remove the stain, it just takes a bit more steps than your regular eye remover. All in all- I recommend this product if you have the funding to purchase it as it is pricy. I would try to get it on sale because they will be on sale at least once a year on Sephora and MuseBeautyPro.

I cannot say enough about Viseart— I have concluded they are my favorite eyeshadow formula and the palettes I reach for most (along with the smaller Theory palettes). Neutral Mattes is a staple in my collection and though it may seem boring, it’s anything but. You can do anything and go anywhere with these browns, peaches, caramels, and taupes. The pigmentation is incredible, they blend beautifully, and there’s no fallout. I also use this palette to contour my face and occasionally fill in my brows. I think if you were a makeup artist, this palette would be a godsend. I also love Cool Mattes. I don’t find it to be quite as pigmented as Neutral Mattes overall- I need to build up some shades more— but I still really love it and can get soft and smoky looks from it. Paris Nudes is lovely. It might look deceptively simple, but this all shimmer palette is quite nuanced. It has a lovely variety of peaches, golds, and mauves that shine on my fair skin and never draw attention to the texture of my lids. What I mean by complexity: there’s a gold that can pull greenish depending on what you pair it with, and a mauve that can pull more lilac or taupe depending on what you pair it with. Viseart palettes may seem expensive, but when you break down cost per gram, you get your money’s worth.

I now own most of the Viseart eyeshadow palettes, and I truly believe they are the best eyeshadows available, especially their matte palettes. Viseart contains the highest percentage of pigments available on the beauty market today. They are handmade and hand-pressed in France, a rarity in today’s world of products being made and imported from China. Don’t let the price steer you away. There’s a reason for the price, and it’s not as high as it seems. The eyeshadows break down to a cost of only $3.33 per gram. That is much less expensive than the price per gram for brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, MAC, and Makeup Geek. Viseart doesn’t contain all of the cheap fillers that many other brands add to their shadows in an effort to lower the cost.

The biggest complaints I see about Viseart from people who aren’t makeup artists are that the formula feels dry to the touch and the packaging isn’t fancy. Well, the packaging shouldn’t be fancy. The concern should be with the quality and performance, not packaging that nobody else will ever see. Viseart 12 pan palettes were made specifically for professional makeup artists working in film and photography. It’s only been within the past 2 years that non-professional consumers have discovered the brand and become interested. Viseart focuses on quality and performance over frills and fillers. While the formula feels drier to the touch than other brands who put cheap fillers in their formula, the higher pigment % ensures that the eyeshadows show true to color on all skin tones, the formula blends out perfectly and easily, and it truly lasts all day and night until you remove it with eye makeup remover. The formula doesn’t have a lot of “fallout” and “kickup” that other brands do, which saves you money by not wasting a lot of product when you’re applying it.

If you’re safisfied with cheap makeup from China that is usually even more expensive, then that’s great. But if you want quality over frills, try Viseart.

This eyeshadow formulation is different that more mainstream eyeshadows in that it feels like you are depositing just pure high quality pigment to your eyelids. There aren’t any fillers, silicones, clay or fragrances in this eyeshadow formula yet the colors are still smooth, easy to use, long-lasting and possibly the most blendable formula I have used. They adhere to the eyelid without primer and blend seamlessly on their own and over each other when layered.

These shades are true to color in that the color in the pan is the color that will show up on your eyelids. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented but they are more firmly pressed than loosely pressed and stay adhered to the eyelids so you don’t get fallout or irritation. I would say these are possibly the best mattes I have ever used. They are just reliable and consistently perform well.

I like how the neutral matte palette includes both a white and black. Between these and all the transition shades in this neutral palette, this can be your go- to matte neutral palette. The packaging is actually much nicer that I had been expecting based on the reviews. The packaging looks flimsy and cheap in pictures, but in person the palette is more compact, sturdier, weighty (the cover plastic is quite thick and provides a rounded and well fitted closure to the case), and I personally think classy looking. I would highly recommend picking up particularly during a Sephora sale though this is the only eyeshadow palette brand that I would pay $80+. I’m a consumer and not a makeup artist and most eyeshadow palettes I purchase seem to hover in the $40-$50 range, but this one has bigger pan sizes and is a workhorse making the cost more than justified. I am eyeing the warm mattes palette next.

I had the chance to pick whatever I wanted for Christmas and decided on the Dark Mattes because of all the great reviews on this brand and I was not disappointed! The quality of this palette puts all my other palettes to shame!

People tend to judge eyeshadow palettes with finger swatches but let me tell you that this is not the way to do it with Viseart! Their swatches on skin won’t show up pigmented like other brands but it’s not how it looks, it’s how it performs. The shadows are soft and smooth, I used them on my eyes without a primer and the colors showed up very pigmented. The shades are easy to blend, it’s not like any other palette I have ever used. You have to use it to understand when people rave about this brand. I’m planning on grabbing all their palettes soon!

All I can say is, "It's worth every penny." This year I decided that I was tired of patchy, crummy eye shadow that made me work too hard. Several friends recommended Viseart, and I'm glad I finally took the plunge. This is my primary palette, which I combine with the Viseart Amethyst palette. The shades blend beautifully with hardly any effort, and the shades are true to product. While the cost was higher than I'm accustomed to paying, I definitely won't need to buy another matte palette for quite a while. Simply the best.

Absolutely love the Dark Mattes palette. I'd been eyeing it for the longest, living through other people's youtube tutorials and reviews, nervous about dropping the money for it, and finally took the plunge (partially thanks to Beautylish's payment program, plus some extra money!). I took it with me on vacation, and it was my only palette. Every day I was able to come up with a different look that was simple but pretty. The shadows are pigmented and blend well. I can use these with and without a shadow base, build them up as much as I want. I've even used a few shades as blush and contour. I find it to be pretty versatile and am very happy with my purchase. I also like the packaging. It's simple, I can see what I'm grabbing without having to open the lid to verify the shades within, and it's compact, so it isn't taking up a lot of space in my makeup drawers.

I waited to buy this one for a while mainly because it’s $80 for 12 shades, but OMG the price is so worth it! This is perfect for everyday and you can smoke it out for a more night on the town look. The pans make it look like I’ve barely used it too and I’ve had it for about 6 months with fairly consistent use. I love this one and now I may look into Viseart’s other collections!!

This is one of my all time favorite matte shadows. The packaging is pretty basic but the formula itself is definitely long lasting. The colors are not all similar like certain palettes we can think of. The pigmentation is very nice and it’s not a dry matte, it’s very smooth where you just need a dab to easily build your color the way you want it. This is definitely something that is totally worth spending $80. If your an all matte girl, I highly suggest you get your hands on this palette.

Beautiful! If these shadows are anything like the viseart palettes I've already tried, than I guarantee they are more than worth it! The mattes are so GOOD. I can't explain it in words. And of course the shimmers. This is a great color story, and the formula is superior by far. It is super blendable, long lasting and pigmented.
