I received a sample of this Virtue Recovery Shampoo and used it this past week. This product claims to rebuild damaged hair with each use and leave your hair soft and supple. I’ll start with what I loved about this shampoo: it has the most pleasant luxurious coconut scent that I really enjoyed in my shower. It lathered well and didn’t leave my scalp dry. After using the matching conditioner and air-drying my hair, I did feel like my hair was quite soft and silky. But there was a lot more frizz and flyaways than I expected given the claims of this shampoo. I try a lot of shampoos and expect to be wowed if I’m gonna shell out $42 for a small bottle. It was fairly mediocre other than the nice scent, so I won’t be purchasing a full size of this product.

I can not express enough how grateful I am for the results I have seen with Virtue Recovery Shampoo. After suffering from a fungal infection that I acquired after a major sinus surgery, I tried every over-the-counter and prescription shampoo, pill, and topical treatment with no success. I was also taking pre/probiotic supplements and vitamins, but nothing seemed to work. The infection not only affected me internally, but it also took a toll on my appearance, causing noticeable hair loss from my lashes, brows, and to my scalp. I had hair loss around my hairline and large patches on both sides of my head near my temples. Desperate for a solution, I finally stopped using the fungal shampoos, which I now know were only worsening my hair loss. I started using this sulfate-free shampoo, along with the conditioner and weekly hair masks such as Olaplex #3 and OUAI Fine to Medium hair. And let me tell you, it worked wonders! My hair is finally growing back, and I can confidently say that this shampoo is 98% responsible for it. I can not recommend Virtue Recovery Shampoo enough for anyone struggling with hair loss due to fungal infection. Trust me, you won't regret it.
