I was very excited to try a product that promised big color payoff on dark hair! This dye does lift but without bleach so the color is not dramatic in darker hair. The tone is gorgeous though and I love how it shows on my highlights. Standard at-home dye application - I would recommend having a brush to apply it evenly.

I was hopeful after looking through the Splat IG page at other women who had hair as dark as mine who had also used this color hair dye. They had some awesome results. Me? Not so much. It barely shows unless the light hits it just right and it came out really patchy as well. Overall I’m just not too impressed. I don’t know if it would be worth it to get another box and trying to do a second round to see if it will show up any better.
