In some respects the Vincent Longo Velour Pressed Powder is 3-dimensional in the sense that each compact contains 'multi tonal shades' (and hence the beautiful marble appearance of the product) designed to not make the face look flat. It also delivers a very fresh, natural looking sheet of colour over the face.

Perhaps it is very much because of this quality that there are 5 shades in the range, as each shade is very blendable and therefore causing less confusion for the average Jo Bloggs when he/she goes to choose a shade. I have the colour Light 2 which is the second from lightest and find that it blends well into my NC/W30(ish) complexion.

The texture of the powder is very silky and delivers a flawless, smooth finish whether used over a foundation, concealer alone or on bare skin. There is no chalkiness to the powder  guaranteeing a seamless finish.

The coverage is buildable so that you can go light for a sheer finish or slightly heavier for a full on 3D matte appearance.

I use this powder on top of a tiny bit of liquid foundation and find that it helps to blur out irregularities on the skin as well as just making my skin look really fresh and (dare I say) pretty.

You get 9g of product (so about the same quantity as regular powders) and it comes with a puff included in the kit and a mirror inside quite a sturdy compact. So unlike some other pressed powders where you have to faff around with a separate mirror and a brush, the VLC Velour Pressed Powder is a one stop shop for all your powdering needs. A1!
