I’ll be honest — I first picked this up because of the bottle. I mean, look at it. It’s a full glam moment on my dresser, shaped like a candy bow in deep plum glass. But the juice inside? Even better than expected. This isn’t your sugary teen scent. It’s sweet, yes — but in a grown-up, “I have a calendar and a favorite wine bar” kind of way. The caramel hits first, warm and rich, and then it smooths into creamy vanilla, white peach, and a whisper of woodiness. It’s cozy, a little flirty, and super wearable for fall or evenings out. I’ve worn it to brunch and to date night and it works for both — rare win. Longevity is solid. I get a good 6–7 hours on skin, even longer on clothes. It’s intense without being suffocating — no headache zone here, even for my super scent-sensitive husband. If you’re into fragrances like YSL Black Opium or Prada Candy but want something a bit more elegant and less overhyped, this is it.

Normally I don’t trust “remakes” of original perfumes as much, I always love the originals and even vintage version of perfumes even if I have to get them second-hand. So to spend $170 at Sephora to get my hands on this was a huge leap of faith..but it was well rewarded In my review of the original perfume I said some of the follow “This genuinely is one of my go to scents for the spring. My favorite part of this specific fragrance is how cute the bottle is, but also how durable it is. I would say that it is travel friendly, IF you are safe about how you pack. I use this fragrance for go-to occasions, where I don’t want to smell too strong, but I want to smell pleasant. It is extremely fruity, more so than floral which surprised me. The top notes are mango and orange, where as the middle notes fall into caramel as well as jasmine…the fruity does over power the floral scent at first but once it dries down you can pick more up on the jasmine and floral throughout the day. Overall, love this scent and even purchased the second version of it, a classic in my collection and would recommend to anyone and everyone who enjoys sweets” So onto how this plays into this remake, I still stand by everything I said. The scent however is a lot sweeter and stronger, a lot more peach and caramel notes mixed into a floral scent, but the berry-like sweetness does take over a lot more now even after it settles for an hour or two. If you have a sweet tooth like me, you’ll love this remake <3
