I would like to share my experience with Verizon so that no one else will
have that happen to them. This is a serious problem that so many people are
unaware of about Verizon.

  I’m a public figure and my privacy is very important to me. I found out
that a fan just walked into a Verizon store and ask for information on my
account. They asked for a pin so that they could get the information but
they fan did not have that. A couple of weeks and a couple of smiles later
she got all the information she needed telephone numbers address is everything.

Now that sounds like it’s a rare case that doesn’t happen. I called Verizon
and told him about it. They told me that is absolutely not uncommon at all
and it isn’t a big deal that they can do that if they want. Escalated it up
to corporate. I was told the same thing your information isn’t secure they
can give it to anybody they want to as a courtesy they were they ask for a
pin but it doesn’t mean that they have to have the pen. They told me for my
inconvenience they can give me a $10 credit.

Obviously this is a massive concern. If people’s information is given out
and it’s okay to anybody who wants it that is not okay there’s so many
things that are wrong with that. I also work with battered women where
their location and information and everything about their account needs to
be secret. You can only see how that works.

  Since then I’ve talked to other phone carriers. Every one of them said
they absolutely do not allow anyone’s information out no excuses.

  I even went to their corporate ask the same thing they told me under no
circumstances would we give anyone’s information out. Couldn’t being the
difference of life and death with people.

In fact everyone I called except Verizon Wireless told me it was absolutely
unacceptable but when I called Verizon that was not the case.

I’ve also filed a lawsuit against them. And again was told I don’t know why
you’re filing a lawsuit against us were allowed to give out your
information to anybody who wants it.

The lawsuit is still pending.

  I will be switching my service from them.

Something to consider with having service through Verizon they charge the
most and your personal information means zero to them that's a very
dangerous position to be in. and the information that you give them is secure.

They need to know that you have to treat people like people not just
another tool to make money and who cares about people’s security because
the people eventually start talking back.

So we have been with Verizon for over ten years. And as the years go by the customer service is getting worse and worse. I have had more problems with this company in the last six months then I have had with any other company ever!! I have had my phone shut off in the middle of the billing cycle, order phones and order disappear, they lost a phone that was sent back, billing issues, have to talk to FIVE different people and was on the phone for over an hour, and the killer each person you talked to said a totally different thing then the person before!!! Don’t they all work for same company? Don’t they all have the same type of training? I think in with the customer service issues this company has I would never recommend anyone using Verizon...

Verizon has great service and I’ve never had a problem in that aspect. I know that it is expensive but not enough for our family to switch. The one negative thing I’ve experienced was the Verizon in our hometown. The lady would constantly lie to my grandma saying free this free that and she ended up buying FOUR FULL PRICED iPads within 6 months. I was not happy to say the least. THEN I needed a new phone and the guy told me I would only pay $300. $800 later here we are 🤬 every other Verizon I’ve been to I’ve had WAY better service.

I've been with Verizon for past 10 years and honestly love the service . Only giving it a 4 start because I wish they would lower their prices down . I would long time ago switch to a different company but I have a whole family who would need to have number changed and some don't approve so we kind of stick paying a high bill. They do have good promotions ones in a while and I do like when bill can be lowered. But if i we're to start I would go with bit cheaper company! With slightly better benefits

I was with Verizon for several years and they got worse as the years went on. Their fees and prices are ridiculously high and unreasonable and their customer service is absolutely awful. Any time I had problems making a payment, they sighed at me and I had to fight for them to give me a couple more days. Would not ever go back to them.

We have Verizon for our cable internet and cell phones. The cell phone works pretty decent although I don't get any service at my house and I do feel like their prices are extremely high. And their customer service it depends on who you get some are really nice and good and others are just horrible.

I’ve had Verizon for years and it seems like the signal has gotten a little bit worse (I assume because so many people have it also) but they are consistent with their bills and that’s better than other experiences I’ve had.

I was a Verizon Wireless company for about 8 years and I recently switched to T-Mobile. For the last few months, Verizon kept incorrectly charging us data overage fees and $40 line access fee when it should have been $20. I would call in every month to get my bill fixed, I swear they do it in hopes you won’t call in and argue the overcharging. Last time I called I got a very nasty representative and manager, I went to T-Mobile that night and switched carriers. I don’t have time to call and argue my bill each month and I have personally watched customer service slip over the years!

I miss a lot of calls and texts since switching to verizon. They are the highest rate of any cell company in the area and they don't even offer coverage a short 30 minute drive from my home. They constantly drop my data connection and I don't recommend verizon at all.

I am giving Verizon five stars today because last night I purchased and air time card from Walmart and lost it somewhere before I got home. That was fifty dollars I was sure was gone. I called their customer service department this morning and after a little verification of my receipt by a Walmart employee Verizon credited my account for the lost card. They didn't have to do that and I really appreciated it. The customer service is an A+ for me.
