First and foremost I have a dairy sensitivity (not lactose intolerance) so I’m very careful as to what dairy products i eat/drink (i cant bring myself to completely quit) so anyway My father bought these at our local Sunflower and they actually did not upset my stomach. I had 2 slices which is one more than i usually allow myself to have but it was great i mean i don’t think its much more different than other cheese slices I’ve had but good nonetheless.

So I can’t really speak to the nutritional value, sometimes I wonder if it’s really cheese or not - but the taste is good. I might put it on a hotdog or deli sandwich, or burger. I usually find it at my local Kroger in a buy 5 save 5, I only get it on sale and stock up. I’ll definitely purchase more for sure
It had been awhile since I had purchased Velveeta Slices. But I agree with the above reviewer. It tastes grainy or chalky. It has no Velveeta taste whatsoever. After trying several slices on their own, we decided to try it in an omelet and it had serious trouble melting. Which is really weird since Velveeta usually melts faster than regular cheese. Needless to say, we are disappointed in this product and will not purchase again. We used to love it and are scratching our heads on why your company decided to change the formula.

I love that the slices were created since I can make a personal size of broccoli and velveeta whenever I am craving it. I love the combination so much I once I asked for plate full of it (broccoli and velveeta) on my 13th Birthday back in 1996. There were no slices in those days so my mom had to take the block out of the Tupperware, along with her cheese slicer, and make her own.

My dad bought these without paying much attention to what brand he was buying. We normally buy Kraft cheese slices and I think they taste great in grilled cheeses or on burgers. These Velveeta slices weren’t that great. The texture and taste in general was different than Kraft cheese slices (it tasted more fake in a way). While it was not bad, it was just not my cup of tea.

I’m a velveeta lover, honestly though I was extremely disappointed with this product. It was okay to use for grilled cheese I guess but it tasted weird and when it wasn’t heated up it had a weird texture in your mouth and just tasted... weird... idk how to explain it. Hubby vowed to never buy it again because of the taste. Would not recommend.

Imagine the Velveeta flavor in Velveeta Mac and cheese, but put into slices of cheese and that’s what you’ve got! It’s like eating Velveeta cheese on your sandwich. My favorite thing is how creamy and rich in taste they are. They’re a bit pricey than other sliced cheeses but if you’re a Velveeta lover it’s totally worth the extra cost.

I use this in everything from soups to sandwiches to snacking. It’s thick and creamy and great in potato soups! It’s also great with broccoli. Easy to melt and goes great with just about anything you add cheese too. Sometimes I even melt it in top of Tostitos® Scoops!® Tortilla Chips for impromptu nachos!

We use the velveeta original cheese slices at home when it comes to anything cheese realted. Velveeta really makes the best! We use it on regular sandwiches, grilled cheeses, you name it, we probably put cheese on it. I would definitely recommend this product.
Velveeta cheese is my all time favorite! I’m in love with cheese. This brand gives you great flavor for a decent price! This cheese can be added to cheeseburgers or sandwiches or on anything you want really!

Yes, I do love melting this block of cheese for dips. However, it is very unhealthy, so I recommend having this once in a while. Not frequently in your diet.
Are these better than Kraft for grilled cheese/ burgers?
