So I am one of the elder millennials that went through life with no health problems, hit their thirties, and all of a sudden have allergies and health issues. So for the last decade, I have been doing my best to find allergy-friendly alternatives to my favorite meals and food items like it was my job. When I came across these frozen waffles the other day I got super excited, because there aren't many freezer foods or even breakfast items that accommodate my allergies. So as far as the product is concerned, the waffles have a great texture and consistency - they are very soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. But they have absolutely no flavor whatsoever, not even a waffle flavor. They are basically just waffle shaped bread, for lack of a better way to explain it. However, I will say I am looking forward to keeping some of these in the freezer at all times so that when I'm not feeling good or when I get sick, my partner has an easy option to make me food.

J'ai acheté ces gaufres aux myrtilles de Van's sans réaliser qu'elles étaient sans gluten, mais dès la première bouchée, j'ai été agréablement surpris ! La saveur est délicieuse, avec un goût de myrtilles bien présent qui ajoute une touche de fraîcheur, parfaite pour le petit déjeuner. Je ne m'attendais pas à une telle qualité pour des gaufres sans gluten. Le packaging est simple et pratique, il garde les gaufres bien protégées et faciles à sortir une à une. Côté ingrédients, c'est un vrai point fort de la marque : une liste d'ingrédients sains et naturels, sans additifs douteux. On sent qu'ils ont mis l'accent sur la qualité des produits utilisés. Pour la texture, elles sont moelleuses à l'intérieur tout en ayant un léger croustillant à l'extérieur après passage au grille-pain. On ne se rend même pas compte qu'elles sont sans gluten, ce qui est un gros plus pour moi ! Enfin, le prix est raisonnable pour un produit de cette qualité, surtout pour du sans gluten qui peut parfois être un peu cher. En somme, ces gaufres sont une belle découverte, et je les recommande sans hésitation, que vous suiviez un régime sans gluten ou non !

I tend to be a creature of habit when it comes to what I eat for breakfast. Lately, I was feeling burned out on the same ol everyday breakfast. I was so happy when I saw a gluten-free blueberry waffle! These are also dairy & egg free! Made with blueberries and baked with whole grain brown rice. I tend to warm them up in the microwave.You can pop these in the toaster and be out the door. The only thing I wish was different is that there are only 6 waffles per box.Most of the other brands have at least 8 waffles. I like these, but they can be hard to find.They must be popular. I know that I like them!
