Vans has long been a brand favorite for me. I had a pair custom made for me in the vans old skool stackforms and I love them! The purple is just the right color for me. I prefer the all suede version rather than the canvas style. It’s just a softer fit. The stackform platform soul is much more comfortable than just the regular ones. In my experience, Vans last a long time, especially when you keep them treated with a waterproof pray for suede. The only issue I have with the old skool’s is the heel. They are not padded and therefore cause blisters on the back of my heel. I see this as a quality issue, because five to ten years ago, it wouldn’t have happened.

This hugs the foot and offers a softer feel than classic Vans shoes (like the Old Skool). However, the chunky construction makes them slightly heavier. Materials and Durability: The combination of suede and canvas is sturdy, typical of shoes designed for skateboarding. The rubber waffle outsole ensures excellent traction.
