Sorry, must say was a loyal customer of theirs for 4 years and then 2 years ago swore them off completely (and was so upset that I called customer service to log a complaint. In store, it seems to be a constant mess, a large portion of the staff (there are some nice folks) seem to intrinsically hate you (I was even told once that some sweater sitting under a "sale sweaters" not being on sale was my fault) and ordering online is no better. The last item I ever purchased from them was a pair of boots that arrived previously worn (not talking try-them-on-walk-around-the-room worn, I mean noticeable scuffs and mild heel wear) I took photos of the in the box, then immediately called customer service. I was told they could not be refunded, I could pay shipping both ways to exchange them, but they would arrive to me in a different color, and were the scuffs really that big of a deal? I decided to keep them soley because I never wanted to ineract with these people any longer. And yes, I know, what if they've changed? But I hear the same types of stories from my friends who continue to shop there. They used to be a nice retailer, it's a shame what they became
Urban outfitters is usually a hit or miss for me. Although their items are cute, some of them can be pretty pricey for the quality. It really depends what you're buying to determine if it's worth your money. UO is trendy and edgy, I would continue to shop there.
I love UO so much! By far my favorite store, if I had the chance I would probably live in the store! Sorry not sorry! From home decor to clothing they have my heart in a whirlwind on most occasions! Not to mention they collar with the best musicians and artists!
UO has cute, quirky clothes and a great selection of house goods and trinkets. They also have HORRID customer service. I had put in an order on Dec 31, two weeks after I got my shipping conformation and I still had no package. I tried to get it redelivered through the shipping company and discovered it had been declared lost, and that I had to contact UO for redelivery or refund. I had got no other notification from either company about it being lost so thank god I called. After being on hold for a half hour for customer service I gave up and just sent an email. I said that I would like whatever is left in stock to be reshipped and a refund for whatever was out of stock. Four days later I got a response. They had reshipped the one item I had actually received because it wash shipped separately. After another week of back and forth, 4.5 weeks now, I finally got an email saying "Oops, sorry everything is out of stock. We'll refund you." Total I wasted 4.5 weeks waiting for something to never come and three misscharges on my card. Which can only be the product of irresponsible customer service from a brand so big it doesn't have to care about all its customers.
I love the style that UO carries! The jeans are very good quality, most of their clothes are. I gave for stars only because some of the clothes can be ridiculously expensive and feel like the have the same quality that you can get for cheap at a different store.
Bought this two piece outfit online and it got to me so quickly. Got to wear it my Palm Springs vacay. I loved it. I’m not a thin girl but there clothes always fit me well. I will continue to shop here.🤟🏽
Although I find their clothes and accessories to be extremely overpriced, all in all I do enjoy shopping at Urban Outfitters. Putting aside their CEO's controversial beliefs, I do usually always find what I am looking for while shopping in their stores.
If you are into unique and trendy styles, this is the store for you. Urban Outfitters offers the best quality denims and flannels. Sure, it is more expensive than let's say... forever 21, but their clothes lasts wash after wash. Look out for their sales!
I love the style of clothing that Urban Outfitters uses for its customers. It's very pricey so I don't buy much from here but their clothing is great quality and durable. If you have a couple of extra dollars to spend on clothes I recommend shopping here.
I think the facade of this story is losing its luster for me. I used to be obsessed with this place, but as of recently I've found that their things are overpriced and the same quality as Forever 21 or H&M. I'll just shop at those stores for half the price
Q & A
How do you feel the prices are here compared to the quality of the items?
Is the price reasonable for the quality of the clothes/bags/accessories? they do have very unique pieces but is it worth it ?
Are these good quality clothes?
How much is they most you've spent at urban outfitters in one day?
What do you consider too expensive when shopping here? I personally would not pay 40$ for a graphics tshirt that I could find somewhere cheaper.
