Im a licensed esthetician. Finding a primer for dry skin is always hard. Ive bought this one 2x already is my absolute favorite! I had a chemical peel done and this stuff made all my flaky skin disappear!
I’ve been using for 2years now&everytime Im even getting low I’ll run out to grab a new one. I feel like this primer isnt appreciated or talked about enough! I love that it has actives that are layer-able and versatile(play/pair well with others) Super hydrating with 2 forms of hyaluronic acid & agave extract. It works great for sensitive skin and I never breakout from it. It has a super tacky feeling that helps makeup adhere, it will dry down but takes longer than others(usually by finish of makeup application) gives a radiant, seamless canvas to apply to. Better than MILK hydro grip& ANY ELF gel primer ! RUN to get this, you will not be disappointed.
I use this when I need just a little extra shimmer. No sparkle just sheen. I am not sure if I would purchase it again. There are other products that work just as well.
It keeps my makeup on and in place for 12 hours plus, it doesn’t dry my skin out or make it oily. I absolutely love and will be repurchasing as needed.
this is my all-time favorite primer. it really helps my foundation and contour stick on. it gives me a very glowy complexion. i love it!
My favorite primer, I have super dry skin & adding this to my prep makes my skin look glowy & healthy. Not super sticky, and lasts through the night - working or going out
I was very excited to try this Urban Decay All Nighter Ultra Glow Makeup Primer because I’m a huge fan of the All Nighter setting spray... This primer is made with hyaluronic acid and agave extract, and it’s in the form of a clear gel that delivers an effortlessly dewy finish and a fresh glow while infusing skin with hydration! Most primers I’ve used have a silky silicone feel to them, but this has an almost bouncy gel texture. As I applied it to my face as the first step before my makeup, it disappeared into a smooth base... It was very lightweight and hydrating, except for the slight residual stickiness. I assume the stickiness helps the foundation and complexion products adhere and last longer? It wasn’t uncomfortable at all, so that’s something to be noted. I tried this primer with a variety of products, first with powder foundation, then I tried cream and lastly liquid foundation. I found that this primer isn’t ideal for powder foundation because the residual stickiness seems to affect the coverage,... A few hours after applying and I had very obvious patches of thinning coverage on my skin that have never occurred before with any other primer. Not a big deal, I have other complexion products... So I moved on to testing this with the other foundations in my vanity. It gave me a nice glow under the cream/liquid foundations and didn’t affect the coverage negatively in any way. I found that my cream foundation became very oily and greasy looking as the day went on (which could simply be the formulas not working well together), but the liquid foundation performed BEAUTIFULLY with this primer! My face had a stunning radiance that wasn’t glittery or unnatural looking! I personally feel that with the hydrating aspects of this primer and the current humid climate of where I live, this product might work out better for all of my makeup products during the winter. So I’ll definitely have to keep trying it out in different ways as the cooler months approach. But all that being said, I absolutely LOVED how my liquid foundation looked with this primer as a base underneath, so I’m a big fan of that combination and will be wearing it regularly for all my Zoom meetings and outings!
Since it only worked well for 1 out of 3 foundation options and I can’t see yet how it will perform in the winter, I give this primer 4/5 stars!
