This is one of my all time favorite gels, especially during the winter (because it doesn't do as well with super humid weather). It makes my hair soft (never once crunch, no matter how much product I put) but maintains the perfect curl (3B curl type). The only downfall is that it's not as readily available in the united states!

I personally didn’t like this product very much - it has lovely appearance and the product smells lovely. However it is difficult to use the right amount as the formula is so runny and even a little bit leaves your hair feeling really wet but then dries feeling a bit crunchy. If you want to use it to style your whole head you end up with your whole head of hair feeling damp again so you have to re dry and it just isn’t a very convenient product.

Firstly, this gel smells so good! It doesn’t have the greatest hold, but personally I don’t need it. It also can be quite difficult to scrunch out the crunch so I prefer to add small amounts at a time rather than risk putting too much in.

Yes!!! With thick, frizzy, curly, wavy hair this is a must have for me and I usually have back ups for my back ups. Bar one one product, this is the only thing I apply to my wet hair after showering. It smoothes, it shines and it's awesome. As with all gel type products, too much means crispy hair and this is no different BUT once your hair has dried, take an old t-shirt and break the curl i.e scrunch your hair using the t-shirt (which is kinder to curls than a towel) and problem solved!

If you are a follower of the curly girl method then I would highly recommend this product to keep your curls in place and soft all day. I have found that usually this is on offer at Boots for 3 for 2 so try and grab it when you can. It is curly girl method friendly.
