Ulta is GREAT. I know that some people think it's the lesser of two stores (compared to the other one that starts with an S and ends with ephora) but I don't feel that way at all. You can get so many of the same products at both stores but Ulta has better sales/coupons than Sephora. Their sales people are always incredibly helpful too. Sephora employees seem to be too busy all the time and don't have the time for all their customers. I love Ulta's points program and of course their sale section. All around I feel like they're great for everyone no matter the budget.
Love love ulta. It's like Walgreens and Sephora had a child. I buy all my drugstore make up brand items here including NYX, aradell lashes, and loreal. I love that there is Benefit, tarte, bare minerals, too faced and honest beauty as well. The also carry the Cerave SA cream for keratosis pilaris (chicken skin). Once a year (during Christmas) you get 20% off everything including premier brands no matter your level. Normally there is a special gift with the premier brands which Sephora lacks. The only blah part is the lack of sample you get when buying online.
I love Ulta! It's conveniently located, usually in a shopping center, and they have just about any product you'd be looking for from makeup to nails and hair color/styling tools - so obviously the prices will vary based on which products you're looking for, but in my experience the drugstore brands that they sell are pretty comparable to what you'd find at any other store. I'm also a part of their rewards program, and last year on my birthday was able to get a free Urban Decay eyeshadow just for being a member with them. I definitely will go back
love this store i fing almost everything... love that it carrys high end make up and low cost ones to.. also definitly a plus i can try the high end foundation lipstips etc. hety if you going to spend the money might as well gfet to feel it out first.. my husband hates this store i go nots in the all the things i need from body care lotion shampoo perfums makeup skin care, nail care hair tools etc. you name it this is every girls dream.
My honest opinion about Ulta Beauty is that I love it! They have great deals and great ways to make the customer keep going back for more. The staff I've dealt with have always been incredibly friendly and know about the products I have questions about. I love the range of high end to drug store options to choose from. I'm subscribed to them and have a rewards card by them as well. So I get the Ulta magazine delivered to my PO Box so I know what deals up for grabs. Love me some Ulta! And they carry one of my favourite brands, Mario Badescu. Got my MB products off 15% thanks to 21 Days of Beauty!
I love shopping at Ulta for makeup, skin care, and hair care products. They not only have most high-end brands, but they also have drugstore brands as well as their own inexpensive brand. Many Ulta stores have a benefit brow bar and a salon. Their rewards program is awesome, too! You earn points every time you shop, and you can use those points for money off your future purchases. Ulta also offers coupons and discounts periodically, and they reward their beauty members with birthday gifts and special promotions. I will always shop at Ulta for my beauty needs!
Everyone at the Ulta Store I go to are very courteous and helpful ! I have purchased items and was very satisfied with those products, lip sticks, mascaras, hair products. although a little pricey, the personalized service was worth it. I am a retired hairstylist and I don't recommend the hair salon. I was pretty much unhappy with the results of my haircut. I did give their salon another try and took my step daughter for her hairstyle and color and the colors were not right and was a bit green. I would, however, try another salon or worker next time
Before, I was strictly a VIB Rogue Sephora girl. After noticing that most of their perks and rewards to be unexciting, I decide to turn my attention to ULTA. Honestly, they're great! Their rewards program is far better. Your points can accumulate and go towards for real money off purchases. Like, woah! Even so, they have a Brow Bar and salon services. They also carry certain drugstore brands and often have special offers and sales. (Like BOGO, BOGO 1/2 off, double and triple points). Although I'm still a devoted Sephora girl, I know I'll stop by Ulta when I can and get my money's worth.
First time I came to this store was probably 2 weeks ago! I usually went to sephora thinking that ulta was going to be an overpriced store such as sephora, but nothing to compare between both! I love ulta. Ulta offers the both worlds of the makeup world. Such as high end and the other end of the makeup spectrum. They also have a loyalty program to earn points. I will be coming here for my makeup shopping for now on!
So for me shopping at Ulta is hit or miss. The selection is obviously a huge plus. There isn't much you can't find. Truly amazing. Most items are in stock, just great. However the ladies working there can be a bit off putting. I go to three different stores in my area. Either you get completely ignored or looked down upon or they follow you around. Or the items don't ring up at the correct prices. Argh. 99% of the time i just order from them online now. Much easier. No hassle. Although I miss just relaxed browsing.
