This was the first Far Cry game that I had played from Ubisoft franchise and is amazing. It is a first person shooter that is fun and addictive. It allows you to approach different combat situations and allows for creative ways to take down your enemies. If you like other first person shooters you will surely enjoy this game. Something that this games offers that other first persons shooters to do not this the freedom of movement you can do almost anything you can think of but climb the cliffs on the tropical island. If you are someone that enjoys FPS games, then you will surely like this one.
One of my favorite games, whenever I can I play, one of the best graphics that exists is this game, I recommend because I'm sure they will notice differences for other similar games, and the cost benefit is compensated by the fun you have , the best but I prefer in the x box one
In the game you play as a rich white kid who goes on vacation to a (what they thought was) an uninhabited island but once they land they get captured by a man named Vaas. While you're captured, you end up escaping and you join the forces who are rebelling against Vaas. The main portion of the story is based around you trying to find and rescue your friends who are sold off by Vaas. The graphics are beautiful for the time it came out and I would recommend it to anyone who likes open world or first person games.
I think Far Cry 3 is okay. I'm not the biggest fan of lots of story lines and plot. I think it's better to watch those than to play, so I do enjoy watching others play it. It's a good game and I enjoy what the game is about, but I don't enjoy playing it.
Farcry 3 is an absolutely great game. It's an intense, open-world FPS that keeps the player on their toes. You play as Jason attempting to free the an island from pirates while finding you're captured friends and brother. The controls are great and the gameplay is a lot of fun. Fights are challenging in a way that makes the game that much greater without making the player too frustrated. It's not the best game I've ever played, but it's definitely a lot of fun.
One of the best, if not THE best Far Cry game I've ever played. The island setting, the main villain, and the protagonist you play as just wrap it up to make the perfect game. Vaas is the chilling polar opposite to Jason and as you trek through the island, you grow as a character and before you even realize it, as a player, too. Both endings are like shocks to your system and all too quickly, it's over and you find yourself needing to play it over and over again.
Far Cry 3 was one of the first games I made after building my own PC in the modern era (used to build them back in the 90s with my dad). Amazing villain, tight gameplay and fun outpost-conquering objectives. This game is partly responsible for getting me hooked on PC gaming!
This game was absolutely amazing. I love the open world setting. I love just being able to decide not to do the mission for a while and just explore, because there is SO much to find and SO much to do. Vaas is an amazing villain. Easily one of the best in all of gaming. I'm taking away one star for the panther though. If you play the game, you know what I'm talking about. Screw that panther.
I'm not personally a fan of the Farcry series (just not my preferred gaming type) but graphics wise and storyline, this one is pretty good. My boyfriend really enjoyed it and it wasn't miserable to watch.
Super fun for anyone who likes RPG's and/or first person shooters. I'm a big fan of bioshock (aren't we all) and I love this game. Super excited to try out the fourth one once I get and xbox one.
Q & A
Is this a continuation game or can you just pick up Far Cry 3 and start there?
I would love it if you could holster your weapon at anytime not just in safe areas, how about you?
How long did it take you to play through?
When playing story mode I completed all of the outposts before noticing that 2 had to be done without being detected and if you don't do this then you cant obtain one of your skills. Is there a way to go back? I'm a completionist and it kills me that my game is 99% complete!!
