I'm not personally a fan of the Farcry series (just not my preferred gaming type) but graphics wise and storyline, this one is pretty good. My boyfriend really enjoyed it and it wasn't miserable to watch.
Completely addicted. I bought a bunch of new games from GameStop last month and still haven't touched them because I've only been playing farcry
One of my favorite games, whenever I can I play, one of the best graphics that exists is this game, I recommend because I'm sure they will notice differences for other similar games, and the cost benefit is compensated by the fun you have , the best but I prefer in the x box one
An open world first person shooter doesn't quite do this game justice. Definitely hits the sweet spot somewhere more structured than Grand Theft Auto, but more open than Bioshock Infinite. On the mature side of gaming, but a lot of fun.
I think Far Cry 3 is okay. I'm not the biggest fan of lots of story lines and plot. I think it's better to watch those than to play, so I do enjoy watching others play it. It's a good game and I enjoy what the game is about, but I don't enjoy playing it.
Farcry 3 is an absolutely great game. It's an intense, open-world FPS that keeps the player on their toes. You play as Jason attempting to free the an island from pirates while finding you're captured friends and brother. The controls are great and the gameplay is a lot of fun. Fights are challenging in a way that makes the game that much greater without making the player too frustrated. It's not the best game I've ever played, but it's definitely a lot of fun.
This game was absolutely amazing. I love the open world setting. I love just being able to decide not to do the mission for a while and just explore, because there is SO much to find and SO much to do. Vaas is an amazing villain. Easily one of the best in all of gaming. I'm taking away one star for the panther though. If you play the game, you know what I'm talking about. Screw that panther.
Super fun for anyone who likes RPG's and/or first person shooters. I'm a big fan of bioshock (aren't we all) and I love this game. Super excited to try out the fourth one once I get and xbox one.
Have to say the only reason I liked this game was Vaas. He is just so crazy, I love it. They killed him off too early in the game. After that I felt like the plot was lacking and the game kind of dragged. They should consider making another with Vaas.
My husband raved about this game for days!!! loved that you could choose different endings depending on your choices. then played it through again! From a wife's standpoint it was a good bang for the buck.
Q & A
Is this a continuation game or can you just pick up Far Cry 3 and start there?
I would love it if you could holster your weapon at anytime not just in safe areas, how about you?
When playing story mode I completed all of the outposts before noticing that 2 had to be done without being detected and if you don't do this then you cant obtain one of your skills. Is there a way to go back? I'm a completionist and it kills me that my game is 99% complete!!
How long did it take you to play through?
