I grew up in a Red Devil Hot Sauce home that was in a Red Devil Hot Sauce neighborhood in a Red Devil Hot Sauce town. Everyone I knew had a bottle of Red Devil in the fridge or cabinet and we used it on almost everything. After moving away to Southern California, I was surprised to find that Red Devil is pretty much not a thing here. There are other Trappey's brand hot sauces, but no Red Devil in stores for whatever reason. I tried other Louisiana sauces but none are quite as good as Red Devil. Red Devil is incredibly versatile with the perfect level of heat and tang. If you don't like a vinegary hot sauce then it's likely not for you, but if you like sauces like Frank's, then you will love Red Devil. I brought in a bottle to my work, and my boss, who is a hot sauce snob, pretty much finished the bottle in a week and asked where I got it. Now whenever I visit home I have to stock up, and grab an extra couple bottles for him.
