Trader joes umami seasoning blend is so versatile to use. Definitely has the mushroom umaminess, adding it to any savory dish will bring out a deeper flavor. Would recommend this for substituting dashi/hondashi.

I legit use this on most of savory dishes! It doesn’t taste like straight up mushrooms; it really just adds a depth to savory food and a hint of spice. I wish it came in bigger bottles because I use it so much/I wish TJ was closer to me! Because of that, I may have to try other brands, but I really do enjoy using this spice blend!
